Hi there. Thank You for making video for me. Actually I thought about your way of fixing this problem earlier, but I like that cool shinny metal hose. I'll try to search a piece of that hose with goods fittings at the car scrapyard. Thanks for the video anyways!

Your welcome. Yes you can but fine for a emergency. I am going to change my fuel system so did not want to spend unnecessary money.

Great job mate . Thanks man this repair doesn't look as clean as factory fuel hose , however this method may be far more reliabl.

I also have that on my jeep but if you take light box off the hood and flip up a bit light turns on because there is weighted switch in box maybe they are different but i also have the switch you show so ive wondered what that is lol

Well I could be wrong I am not perfect but if it is not the light switch it could either be a alarm switch to go off when the hood/bonnet opened? Or a warning switch that your Bonnet/Hood is not closed properly while driving.

hood light is on a wheighted system in the light box i believe

I think this comment is not for this clip about fuel lines but my light switch is mounted mid fender and activates when the bonnet opens. Maybe different building factories did it differently.

Does any one know where I can get a new elbow push lock quick connect fitting? Basically the fitting that goes on the fuel rail

Not sure if you can buy them. You could try RockAuto a online parts supplier. But when I broke my first one I just cut just after the elbow and pushed the hose over the rail and used a normal hose clamp.
