Just about did everything except hold my hand while doing it. I was good up till the edit funnel in Systeme as my site is still pending I guess. Otherwise, I really wish I watched your video first instead of spending two days with the official video. I spent 45 minutes and got way farther than I did in the two days before. I'll give systeme a chance to update my stuff. Hopefully I can get it sorted, but I'm definnitely farther along than I was . Keep up the great info. I subscribed to your channel.

Since recording this video, SIO have updated their platform to prevent you from assigning your custom domain to a funnel, until it is "Ready for use". If that takes longer than a couple of hours, contact support on their help page and they will be able to direct you to the problem CNAME record. They are usually very quick. I wish you all the best in your business.

Hi Brandon, I watched your video and noticed that the second link didn't include the second 'www' needed to add to DNS. I added it myself to align with your instructions. I'm wondering why I don't have access to Nameservers or Forwarding options on GoDaddy's platform? Likewise, I stuck at 4:47. Before I began the process, GoDaddy prompted me to purchase a plan. I didn't make any purchases. Is it necessary to buy a plan before following your video tutorial? 🤔
Hi Jessica, I will try answer your questions below: 1) When you input your domain name into Systeme.io (SIO) did you include the www. before your domain name? This is required in order for CNAME records to be generated correctly by SIO. 2) Some users have experienced this with GoDaddy. Contact their support desk and they can rectify your access, so you can update the DNS records for your domain. 3) You do not need to purchase a HOSTING plan from GoDaddy in order for this to work. SIO will be hosting your website, blog or sales funnels. What you do need to purchase from GoDaddy is your domain name prior to implementing this video. Hope that helps Brandon

Hi, having a look at the DNS configuration settings that Systeme.io provides at the moment, it does not have the .www in the second CNAME record. I would however still include the .www in the second CNAME record when adding it into GoDaddy. Let me know how you go
Hi, I am a rather late in replying to your question (apologies), are you referring to the A record IP Address in the GoDaddy DNS config page? These are assigned by GoDaddy and cannot be edited. If your domain is parked, you would need to contact GoDaddy as to why this is the case. I hope you have resolved the problem already. Thanks for watching
It'd be awesome if someone sees this and can help I went through all the steps it shows up good on the DNS check but when I try to assign the domain to a funnel it's not an option.
Even though your DNS checker shows green ticks, you have to wait until the Custom Domain status in Systeme.io is Ready to Use, before you can assign the domain to your website or funnel. If all has been set up correctly, this could be within 40min or so. If not, contact the Systeme.io support team and they will guide you exactly to what needs to be corrected.

I presume this error is received when trying to edit the www CNAME record. If this is the case, drop GoDaddy a support call and ask them to allow you to edit the www record. They are normally quick to respond and get you moving forward again.

I went through all the steps for a new funnel set up, and the funnel domain is not populating. Everything is set up correctly. I went through the steps again to be sure. Help!
Hi, thank you. The domain will only be available for your funnel once the domain status is "Ready to use". You can check this in Settings>> Custom Domains. If this not the case for your domain, contact the Systeme.io help desk and they will identify exactly what the issue is for you. Their response time is normally pretty quick.

Hi, I presume you are referring to the GoDaddy DNS configuration page that is restricted - open a support ticket with GoDaddy and they will update your account to allow you edit the DNS settings for your domain.

Hi, firstly which platform is giving the error? Is it GoDaddy or Systeme.io? Sounds like you would need to remove the conflict with your homepage first. To start over in Systeme.io, select the ellipses (three dots) next to your domain name in the Custom Domain Settings and then select delete.
Hi, Systeme.io (SIO) is constantly updating, there may be checks in place now that prevent assigning a domain to a blog post or funnel until the domain is ready for use. Irrespective if there are new checks in place, the domain will not resolve to your website or funnel until it is ready for use (as I demonstrated in the video). If it has been a couple of hours since connecting your domain to SIO, then I suggest you contact SIO support and they will quickly be able to let you know what the problem is

Yes you would have to. It is called Google workspace, which basically gives you an email inbox associated with your domain name and other features like Google Drive and Meet etc. This is a monthly charge per user account

Hi, by "account", what are you referring to? Make sure to enter your domain name in the text box and select CNAME to check if the DNS settings have been populated.

Thank you. This has happened before with SIO, that they omit the .www Copy the code for the second DNS and paste that into the Name section, and then add ".www" then follow the rest of the instructions in the video. Hopefully that resolves the problem for you

i have followed this perfectly and when I go to my funnels to assign my new domain to a funnel, I still cannot select my newly added domain from a dropdown list. It only shows the first one I ever assigned! help?
Hi, if you go to Settings > Domains, is your "domain status" "ready to use"? If this is not the case, then that is why it is not available for you to apply to your funnel. On one of my domains, it took a couple of hours before the domain was ready for use. If it has been that long since you set up your domain, please contact Systeme support, they will be able to identify the exact problem and help your resolve the problem.

Yes, multiple funnels can use the same domain, however each funnel will have a unique and different subdirectory after the domain. For example. yourdomain.com/funnel1 and yourdomain.com/funnel2 You can name the subdirectory anything you want.

Yes, open the Editor for your funnel page, head over to "Settings" in the top left - and change the "Title" to what you want to reflect on the browser tab.
