Louise, need some advice. When I complete the transfer of crypto to my Trezor and all confirmations are shown on screen etc.. can I go ahead and disconnect my Trezor from the computer? I mean simply close exodus and disconnect device. Worried if I should be following a safe and proper route to disconnect. Thanks..
When transferring from Exodus to Trezor, or back from Trezor into the Exodus... are there any fee's taken out for the transactions? I know to move funds out of Exodus there are always fee's . Also do you have a video about the supported formats inside the trezor. I don't understand if Trezor will hold any coins or if always you must convert to bitcoin or litecoin, etc.. to store in a trezor? Thank you,

If you connect your Trezor to Exodus, you only use Trezor. Exodus is just the interface. If you send your funds to Exodus then Trezor you would pay two gas fees, so don’t do this. Hopefully that makes sense
Hi, I transferred xlm from exodus to trezor one. It shows up in trezor on exodus interface but when i open trezor suite i don't see any xlm on my trezor device?( I did download a bridge ) I tranferred it back ok but only in exodus. Im a newbie to all this, so is this normal??

I am about to transfer some cryptocurrency to.me Trezor Wallet. Can I ask when I have completed the transfer can I view the total amounts from my Trezor wallet? Secondly, when I buy more crypto and its on the exodus exchange do I have to go through the same process again and transfer it to the Trezor as per the first time?

Just realising, being new to it and all, that many cryptos can't be directly sent to a Trezor One like you would do with, for example, Bitcoin when using Binance and the Trezor. Does anyone know the reason for this limitation in having a select amount of principle cryptos? Also, once transfered from Exodus to my Trezor, is this crypto in cold storage on my Trezor One in the same way as the above BTC, Binance and Trezor example would be? Thanks.
So the crypto can only even be on either desktop or hardware wallet at any given time. What happens if you ever brick your hardware wallet? What action do you take prior to any firmware upgrade?
technically the crypto lives on the blockchain, not in your wallet. What you wallet holds is your seed phrase, aka they "keys." And yes, it either lives in your hardware wallet or the desktop/app exodus. What you can do is have the majority in your hardware wallet and keep some on the Exodus software wallet for easy access/spending without having possession of you hardware wallet. If you hardware wallet breaks or bricks, you can restore it on another Trezor, Ledger, or Exodus (among many other) wallets using your 12 or 24 word seed phrase.
When you setup your Trezor device for the first time you were asked to write down a recovery code. If your device fails, all you need to do is buy another one and recover your funds on the new device using your recovery code
Obviously. Depending on the amount of assets you have, just moving it to the wallet could add up quickly. Also some assets will not transfer at all, XMR being one of them.
Same question. 1 LTC was sent from Exodus, then 1 LTC was shown to be in the Trezor (seemingly no fee)... but when sending back the LTC balance was 0.99949. Maybe this was a market price changed during the minutes between transfers?? I didn't see any display of fees being charged, but I'm unsure.

Hi, I had linked my Trezor ONE with Exodus but then found it did not hold some of my coins. I now have the model 'T'. Can you tell me how easy is it to use this instead of the model ONE which is still linked to Exodus?
They always make videos with Trezor sending and receiving the easy tokens like Litecoin, nobody ever does a video sending solana or any sub tokens. What nobody tells you is that Trezor, whilst being the oldest and most expensive hardware wallet is actually the most cumbersome and difficult one to use: its expensive for fees, it has no customer help, every move you make is charged punitively and the device itself is not user friendly. If you dont want to lose your crypto due to some slight of hand, stay away from Trezor.
