Thanks for this video, this is the exact setup I have, including the same branded batteries. My setup is for a converted shed, that uses a 2000w inverter that powers the shed. I have a question: When charging with solar, the batteries will peak at 14.4V and the charge controller indicates that the batteries are full. Once the solar is disconnected or night falls, the batteries drop to 13.2V and will discharge without load to 12.6V throughout the evening. Is this common or is there any issue with the battery? I expected the battery to discharge at a slower rate.

Hello, I bought an 89 Georgie Boy Cruise Air lll. in the front there are 3 x 12 volt batteries. My question is 1 is for starting the engine the other 2 are for the house, they are all hooked together because when the engine is running, they all get charged. Question---Can I replace 2 x 12v house batteries with 2 x 6 volt golf cart 215 a/h batteries with the same battery conections without messing anything up? Meaning, can I hook them up the same way the 3 x 12 volts were? Changing to one 12v with 2 6v. batteries. Thank you.

When i connect two batteries as series, one of them loses almost 100% capacity, and the other one loses some of its capacity.Why is it happening ?for example when we connect two 31-gel batteries of floor cleaning machines, one of them completely dies and the other one sometimes loses some capacity.

I hear a lot about balance in regards to the batteries. I'm expanding my solar bank to 16 6volt batteries at 210 amp hrs each. My first bank is all wired in series to generate 48volts at 210 amp hrs. They are laid out in a horse shoe shape with the positive at the beginning and the negative terminals at the end of the bank to the inverter. Would it be possible to set up the second. 8 similar to the firts and connect the second bank to the first via parallel? Thus staying at 48 volts with 420 amp hrs. I saw a setup as per the above, but had the bank setup with the positive and negative coming off each bank in the center connecting to the positive and negative cables to the inverter. I would like to maximize the amp hrs, but stay within reasons for solar.

Yes and no. Connect the two 6 volt batteries in series and then connect them to the 12 volt battery for starting if that's how it is
