Why are so many people pissed at this guy for making a video that others (like me) would need, but not them? They’re saying shit as if it was a useless video, when a ton of people don’t understand how to do this, and this can help significantly. The point is, don’t watch it if you don’t need it, and don’t insult them because you watched this even though you didn’t need to. I personally thought it was very helpful and I give it a like.
Not to mention that hes one of those people that you can understand very clearly he goes step-by-step shows you the photos and very thorough,so yeah I agree! If you don't like the video then go somewhere else....DAMN! HATTERS gotta HATE. GROW UP! NOT ONLY TOO STOP "SOME" OF YOU FROM SOUNDING LIKE AN IGNORANT A$$ BUT FOR YOUR DIGNITY AS WELL AS YOUR UNWILLINGNESS OR LACKING TOO UNDERSTAND WITH OTHER PEOPLE & OR ANIMALS.THANKS. Sweet dreams😴& a good day 😁to you.
Thank you I for one appreciate his step by step tutorial. I just recently bought my kid a Nintendo and I have absolutely no idea about any type of gaming station or how to go about setting it up.
FYI, those types of comments only appeared the first month or so. The video eventually found its proper audience. Also note, I made a better version of the video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9kigdbnYP0I.html
To those of you who wrote rude comments here: Why? Why did you go out of your way to write a comment on a video that was not even meant for you? This video is meant for brand new Nintendo Switch owners of the first version of the Nintendo Switch, especially those who purchased the console from Ebay; the fact that you wasted your time and the Channel owner's time shows me that you have nothing better to do other than to make fun of something that you should not even be worrying about; I mean wow, makes me wonder what kind of person you are outside of the internet, to be honest.
Very helpful as a non switch owner but as the resident "computers guy" for my friends and family. Was able to help setup a friends switch remotely with this video.
Im a 40 year old veteran in Nintendo. I was connecting the 8-bit console at the age of 6 without a problem. Imagin how stupid i felt i need to look up a video to get informed i could open the docking station 😂😅 thanks man ... Im old
I am looking at the RU-vid video recommendations, and guess what, other channels have made similar videos to this one, yet those videos are old, long and are not short and to the point; this video is short, to the point and is excellent for a reference guide.
Thank you so much for this! I found out I have too many cords plugged in so I’ll have to make some room for my power cord. Once I make room, I’ll watch this again and enjoy playing on the big screen. Thanks again!
I looked up this video because I bought a game for my brothers switch (I do not have one myself and have never used one) and his room and stuff is really messy, so I don’t even really know what I’m looking for, this video is very helpful, since I had no idea what cords and stuff I was looking for
I have yet to come across any rude comments but apparently there are some which is just pathetic RU-vid is brilliant for tutorials let the people who need this use it and if you don’t need it leave it why be a dick when it’s helping people
Yeah, there were a few, mostly around the time when the video first launched. The thing is that RU-vid moves negative comments down toward the bottom, so they are long buried.
(Please answer me if you know or dont know how to fix this) Now, i do what i all need to do. I put the switch in the Dock, and literally nothing happens at all. The screen is still on the switch nothing pops up, the switch doesnt even get charged and it doesnt count as i put it in the dock! What am i suppose to do?
I have 2 Hdmi outputs on my TV the first hdmi output says DVI and the second hdmi output just says HDMI 2 where should I plug it? Also ty for the tutorial.
I don't think the DVI port will let you plug the HDMI into it. Go with the HDMI 2 one. You can actually use any HDMI port, but usually the lower numbered ones have more features. Good luck.
OMG, thank you so much. I’ve been trying to connect my Nintendo switch to my TV for the past year and a half, but I kept on failing and I eventually gave up. So thank you so much.
I hardly ever comment but this video was a perfect explanation to hook up my sons switch. I clicked on a couple other videos before this one and they were shite!
Thank you for making this video!! You answered my question within seconds. I haven’t used my switch with a tv in years so not remembering how to connect it was a struggle until I found this video! Thank you!!
i did everything in this video, but when i go to turn on the Switch, it just turns on the screen while its docked. the tv shows a no signal. ive checked all the cables, the hdmi screens on my tv, i dont know what else it could be edit: im so stupid my extension cord wasn’t plugged in
Thx, it was helpful since I don’t have tv at home but I sometimes take my Nintendo to the office where we have game room so thanks to this video I know how to plug the Nintendo to the tv 👌
Thank you for this! While I've not checked Nintendo's support website, your video came up first when I looked for help on how to dock the Switch. After my days with the SNES, I moved over to PlayStation, which is a lot more straight-forward (since it's just wires that all consoles have and your controller. I don't have any additional peripherals). So, the Switch has been a new learning process, lol.
THANK YOU!! I bought a refurbished one (since it's 2023 I figured I'd save some money since the console cane out quite a while ago)....it came in fantastic condition but had absolutely zero instruction manuals. The switch itself is pretty user friendly but I keep hearing horror stories of scratching screens in the dock so this video was straight to the point and what I needed.
This was helpful because I'm getting a Nintendo switch today. I might not have a lot of time to hook it up to my monitor, so I am making sure I already know which parts are what and I have an idea of the space I'll need to do it. Not that it's hard. Ignore the rude people.
👋HEY! 👉HEADS UP! He's one of those people that you can understand very clearly he goes step-by-step shows you the photos and very thorough,so yeah I agree! When u want to unplug the switch to the tv does it go back to the normal tv or does make u sign back into the tv because my tv is a Roku I’m not sure if my tv will go back to normal or be different let me know in the comments in the reply section
Thanks so much for the tutorial, once i plugged in my hdmi cords, i figured it out myself. Still though, this tutorial put on the right direction. Thanks man!
Thank you for this😭🙏 im HAPPT u sent straight to the point but still gave enough details!!! I needed this cuz I’m changing from the switch lite that can’t connect to a tv to the switch!!! Thx once again🫡🫶
Thank you for the steps when I first gotten my intendo I found this video :)but my dad said well do it tomorrow and tomorrow I said when will me do it and HD said"after all the other things to do ok margaret" and I said " ok soo what do we do first?" And he said all the things that we needed to do:buy the poopoo seat cleaner, buy the ingredients for the Philippino spaghetti and bread for my yumyum sandwich ;)
When I went to do this my switch wouldn't connect to the tv, so when i put my switch on the stand and plugged it in a pop up showed up saying "Couldn't connect to tv. Make sure to use the ac adapter supplied with the console" Once i saw that I felt really stupid...
I tried this, but I don’t have the ac adapter that came with my console- I lost it. Is there any way I can still connect or do I need to buy a new one? Thanks for the help either way :)
So my Nintendo switch is brand new, just tried setting up the dock in order and it won’t work. The dock does in fact charge the switch and the hdmi does work I even plugged it into my ps4 to see if it was the hdmi or not and the ps4 showed up just fine. No signal at all I get a indicator that my switch is charging when it’s seated and it automatically turns on when I take it off the dock. I have absolutely no idea what to do.
