NEVER, EVER use a claw hammer to beat on steel. That is something that a rookie does. Use a ball peen hammer, a steel mallet or a wood mallet. Claw hammers will chip.
I don't see any use of this beside art. Square tubes don't hold pressure. But this is cool af and I'm sure we could have cool looking furniture with this. Love the industrial look
50% тупой работы. Зачем было мучиться с квадратом, когда достаточно было просто сделать конус, и к нему также приварить профильную трубу. Сам себе усложнил работу 😂
That was pretty clever but they should have made the square and a little smaller so the square tubing with slide over it and it would only have one weld
The circumference of a round object e.g. pipe is pi X diameter - 1 material thickness. It's also the way to calculate how much sheet metal to use for rolling a pipe. ;)
You know who else uses paper patterns to make complex shapes? People who sew. However they will never get the respect they deserve because their skills are taken for granted and not considered manly.
As an industrial designer who sometimes makes chairs I would *love* to be able to sew better so I can make better pillowcases/sewn leather features. Its 100% a combination of art, math and skill. Totally gets respected by people in my line of work.
Too many narrow thinkers and education providers have grouped or associated sewing with dress making. Making patterns and Joining soft materials is an amazing and complex skill and definitely not women’s work only. I can rebuild engines, make basic sheet metal transitions and join various types of metals yet don’t have any idea how to use a sewing machine. Something with help of You Tube I hope to change soon.
It's a simple way to do things with paper patterns when you can't figure out other ways of doing it. These are the kind of people I have the most respect for. Hat's off to you Sir.
😂😂как сварщик говорю,это полная чушь, никто не будет этого делать никогда!глушим трубу вырезаем отверстие квадратное и варим профиль, всë, быстро и просто!но я за всю жизнь такой чуши не видел никто это не делает, не за чем, и нигде не применяют
