Some videos show to connect the panels first... I just burned my 2 solar charge controllers that is always connected to solar panels but has a switch to disconnect the battery and I plipped the switch this morning after the solar charger lost power during dark and did not turn on again. Aparently you must NEVER connect solar panels first on a dead solar charger, I did not know that, and no one warned me about it... Quite the opposite several videos show connect panel first.

This isn't particularly useful for someone that wants to know the whole procedure from scratch. I have the components and the instructions, except I also needto wire in some breakers and some fuses. This video is useful to show me how to push some wires into the terminals and tighten the screws. Too basic.
