Bro, this is not Bharat scout guide reef knot... This is hardazous 230 Volts Ac. Breakdown of insulation due to ageing ,heat will create a short circuit. Don't share such ideas... please 🙏
I'm an electrician and this guy (person posting these videos) should not bother as he is not competent enough. The last video i saw was how to twist wires together, which is a nothing less than moronic!
If its a full cord with the sheath intacked the 2 cable sheath will not move but I suspect its just bits cable with no sheath wich will allow it to move
*HEY, WHAT STORY IS THIS? THOSE TWO SINGLE WIRES ARE OUTLAW, THE TWO WIRES MUST BE TOGETHER IN AN ONLY SHEATED CABLE, COMPOSED, IN FACT, OF THE SINGLE SHEATED WIRES, PLUS AN EXTERNAL SHEAT.*
Fica a dica!!!
No heating issue. There will be a small inductive reactance which might reduce current very slightly but won't dissipate heat. In fact coiling a wire will reduce the heat it produces (compared to that same length of wire straight) by reducing the current flowing through it. Depending on where you are there may be code issues with "knotting" the wire (if this is knotting). In Australia the wires in an approved plug must employ a "pillar, post grip, torturous path or other effective means" to prevent their withdrawal from the plug. I believe this is to avoid damaging the insulation or wire in case of tension being exerted on the cable/plug.
Who in the world will use PVC cables meant for fixed installation to be used for external devices. Definitely the use of flexible cable with extra sheath for protection is recommended.
