great video on learning AWS and DevOps! Just wanted to add a quick tip for beginners. I created some EC2 instances while following along, but forgot to terminate them when I was done. This resulted in unexpected charges of 50$ 3:39 3:39 3:39 on my AWS bill. Hi @Abhi, Really your sessions awesome and explaining the each and every point more clearly with an example also. I started my journey AWS Zero to Hero Today only, based on my previous AWS knowledge I finished the 4 videos today only. After that I started the Lab Activity and IAM Lab and Lunching the Jenkins application and accessing to outside world and it was success. I am feeling very very happy. I will try to finish all videos in the play list try to finish the labs also. Ton of Thanks Abhishek. Here I would like stress one small point, when I stopped the EC2 instance and after sometime I started the EC2 instance again I try to lunch the application again getting an error. Then after I checked the EC2 instance Public IP it was changed but private IP was same. So, I copied the new Public IP again and lunched successfully jenkins. So, conclusion is If you stopped the EC2 instance Public IP will change.

Hi Abhishek, The Day 7 tutorial was good, but it would have been great if you could have shown us how to destroy this infrastructure (the VPC). NAT gateways and elastic IPs are the ones that, if forgotten to delete, will cost money. It would be great if you took the below things into consideration. 1) Let us know if it will cost us before we begin hands-on so that we can destroy it after hands-on only. 2) Additionally, if you can, provide a video on AWS billing so that we can keep track of our invoices.

Can you please create another DevOps session solely for windows users? I like the course, but it seems following with a windows laptop is making it difficult for me. I spent almost five days trying to figure out this same problem from the MobaXterm without success until now that I've seen this video, but I am still stuck at video 7 where you taught the first shell scripts. That is not a real time issue .. may be u r using pem file instead of ppk .. try mobaxterm if u finding putty difficult

I had got the same issue , at 6:06 I had not put username as "ubuntu" . the aws website says one of the reason to encounter this error is - You're using the incorrect user name for your AMI when connecting to your EC2 instance. The usual user names are ec2-user, ubuntu, centos, root, or admin.

DOUBT : I had created an ec2 instance and i tried accessing using Mac but I wanted to access the same instance from windows from mobaxterm. I got two questions. How to connect the vm using same key pair. Is it necessary to create and download another keypair and try accessing it?. Please clear

Hi Abhishek. It's my first comment on this channel. You are helping many people with these videos. I have a doubt, I have done everything till the end of this video in MobXterm, BUT how can we authenticate with the key. Because when I command PWD it tells Ubuntu, so we can't give the path of our local drive (Windows) for authenticating key.

@@GovindaraoDukka delete instance and then re-create the instance then connect using ui of mobaxterme and if you want to connect using command then put double slash in the path // like ssh -i c://download//key (path with double slash) ubuntu@2.3.5.8(ip) like this and let me know if this problem is solved copy the path properly and use double slash that's it

Additionally, when attempting to connect via the AWS console, I'm receiving the error message 'Failed to connect to your instance. Error establishing SSH connection to your instance. Hi Avinash, can you also share how to access private IP Aws instance via mobaxterm through jumphost(public IP). Like 1st AWS instance is Public and under this there is one more instance which is Private IP. Thanks.

I have easier way of connecting to ec2 in windows. Just select your ec2 instance and click on connect then go to ssh client and copy the example command at the bottom. Now go to the folder where your .pem file is downloaded and open cmd or windows powershell there and paste this. Boom ! You’re connected to your ec2 now.

Hi Abhishek, Thanks for your in-depth videos, I have watched your Python Zero to Hero. currently, I'm watching AWS Zero to Hero but I'm stuck on Day 3 on how to connect the ec2 instance from a window laptop, I downloaded the mobaxterm, created an instance, and got the public IP address but I'm having an error saying server refused our key, No supported authentication methods available (server sent: publickey)
