Hi bought it for my wife and I did a setup at home and everything worked fine but when she took it to work and she tried to lock it, it didn't wanna connect... Why is that the scooter is 2 days old brand new... Such a hastle to connect.

I wrote to the Xiaomi Global because the same problem. I got this answer: "Thank you for you contact, user safety is Xiaomi' s top priority when designing product. We recently noticed the cruise control function on our Mi Electric Scooter (Essential/1S/Pro2) may pose safety issues when used unconsciously or improperly. For safety precautions, we have cancelled this function in our latest software update."

Guys make sure you allow permission on the app if it won't connect......... Also you can turn cruise control on via app...... I have had mine 30 mins and I have just figured this out now lol
