Normally UPS isolates its Neutral input and output; Connection in this video effectively shorts them. Is there a downside in connecting them like this?
Is there a video that can automaticly switch to ups ? So instead going through circuit breaker L goes directly to switch (why not through circuit breaker then the switch) ? What if I have lights on 2 c.breaker and I need one outlet via ups ?
This circuit works automatically when the UPS is connected and turned on.Besides mcb is not used because the supply is taken from the db board and connected to.
So when the mcb is in the position for the UPS, the light will work because there is power from the main power supply through the ups and if doesnt, from the battery through the ups, and if the mcb is in the position from the main power supply then the ups is outside circuit and could be replaced (battery or device replacement) , is that right ? one more question, on the wall socket where the UPS is powered, if it is a EU plug, does it matter which wire is N and which is L in ups input (because this plug can be plugged in straight or upside down) ?
