This here is world class therapy, thank you both for helping millions of us work through inner child issues. I love the role playing system where Alex explains what clients’ most common reactions and roadblocks are, this format is immensely helpful. It still requires gut wrenching tedious work but these videos give me hope that I can manage

Omg! During listening to this video I realized that my IC was feeling there is something wrong with her when experiencing strong emotions and of fear was always coming up because of that, she did not fully belived she was creating them and I was misleading myself… I have realized that this pattern was created in school with my teacher being angry with me, this was such a shock then that I have holded on until 45 years of age, until today! I was treating myself excactly as she was, not accepting , with anger, like there was something wrong with me. Oh my gosh, I am crying right now with this realization! This is powerful! Thank you so much for this detailed guidance and steps, I was doing the fork thing and not taking full responsibility for my emotions, I was confused. ❤❤❤ thank you trully. You just made my day 🙂

~Hi. Thanks for this. Somehow, stretching or pulling away from the centre ( or deepest self ) is a familiar activity. Pausing and " sitting with " this exact moment is the re-grounding necessary for self-inquiry to begin. Something like that.

I can imagine the most difficult part of listening to the IC is firstly to get it to STOP! Because the first thing it will say is .. ‘they said this’ which triggered a response an emotion a feeling and you’ll ruminate on what you should have said ( as you said in your lesson) rather than observing your feelings quietening the mind we Can have that all important nurturing conversation with the IC. We need the awareness to see the disturbed mind, catch it, calm it, soothe it nurture it and grow would that not be the place to start? As always love your lessons guys which Why I joined the community to grow. Peace be with you always

Thank you both for these valuable lessons.❤ I have been doing the golden thread process and I think I finally understand what my inner child believes and why I create these intense red light emotions. It has convinced itself that I can't cope, I'm not safe out in the world, others are more powerful and I will never be accepted or supported, I'm different and inferior to the rest. Could it be that it's motive for creating all the fear and trying to keep us aboard the "carrousel of despair" is that it wants us to feel so bad that we run away and hide, we don't engage with life and we stay "protected"? After all of these realizations I still have all the intense red light emotions. But I've been listening to the meditations and I find they are really helping. I'm hopeful I may be able to grow and mature this inner child. I can't thank you enough.

Very interesting!! As a child i sometimes felt invisible, not seen But i think now at 45 i also never really "seen" my IC I have a question David if i may.. I allways tried to put down,ignore etcetra my RLF,s I believed it was scary to feel them Now last week my pet had to go again to the vet, sick I created RLF,s and tried to push them down Then i suddenly said, "bring it on! Youre welcome" I let the feelings come,nojudging and in maybe 3 minutes the RLF,s were gone and i felt fine What is your look on inviting the RLF,s in, let them come and most of the time they automatically disappear Thanks❤❤❤

Do we do these questions/meditations every day? In the moment of an "incident" in public, you probably just react as you have for many years. So, you may not realize what is happening until later. so, can you go back later and ask your IC later what happened today when we reacted to this situation? Is there a daily process I need to do? I ask because when you are feeling okay and functioning fine you may not feel like you need to continue a daily talk with your IC. or should you? Then, an incident triggers you. And you are dealing with it "after the fact". I hope I'm making some kind of sense. Thanks

@9:02 You say: stick with it. Ask the child, what is the matter for throwing a tantrum...... Why are you creating this emotion. That is the golden thread process. ---- Question: in your 500 videos. I did a search, and there was not a single video called "Golden thread process". Instead there is a playlist of 50 videos and it is not possible to listen to 50 videos each more than 30 minutes. My question: I have an emotion, but I don't know from what inner child thought or event it comes from. I sit with the emotion and imagine the child. The child doesn't say anything and it looks like I have to feed it words. @18:30 Asking the inner child why they threw a tantrum? I do it, but I don't get responses but maybe I just try to run through all the horrible things that happened during childhood. But the child is not saying anything. How do I go, from the emotion, to the child talking about why it created the tantrum. If it is explained in a specific video, pass me the link, I will appreciate it. I work and cannot watch 500 videos over 30 minutes each. Thanks

I watched several of them. But others I didn't get to. I wonder which is the one you wanted me to watch. These two I haven't watched. Amazing video. Could you explain when emotions are valid / appropriate to the situation & you need to speak up you’re not okay with their behaviour (anger is present). Are you not still creating the emotions? & is this okay bc it is appropriate to situation ?!
