Hooking up a camcorder to an HDTV lets you watch videos you've taken on your TV. Both LCD and plasma HDTVs let you connect to your camcorder. Connect the cables step-by-step in this video tutorial.
Does anyone know how I can then copy onto a dvd recorder please? We want to watch the camcorder footage whilst being able to pause the dvd so edit out the rubbish recordings. Is this possible or do we just have to plug the camcorder directly into the dvd recorder and just copy that way? Thanks for any help. X
I am not very savvy, but I just turned on the video that was in my camera, and kept pushing buttons on my remote until I saw the video. I hope this helps.
Mine is nothing like that at all. I have a Sony camcorder and it only has 2 RCA outputs for audio and video, the other end is a 1/8" single plug to input to a laptop or something but that doesn't input, it's an audio output to audio input for sound only. I need an A/V single cable from my Sony camcorder to a HDMI input for my laptop. Nobody knows what the hell i'm talking about at Best Buy or anywhere else because all the workers are 20 years old. Most don't even know what an RCA cable is...they keep talking about bluetooth....it's all they ever heard of. I want the cable to go to my laptop so I can project it to my 75 inch TV via my Screenbeam wireless. My old 50 inch Sony TV had RCA galore to input to, but this new LG has ZERO RCA inputs it's all USB and HDMI and there's not even enough of those.
on your camera you should have some options on the menu and since i don’t know what camera you have, you most likely have an option that allows it to be colour
