Hi vMix team, it's Larix Broadcaster developers team here. Thanks a lot for the tutorial! It's very simple and informative. If you have any questions or issues, let us know.
Hi, nice to see you here! As Tim mentioned in the video there is a lack of NDI capable app in the Google Play store. Could you add this feature to Larix Broadcaster? In this case your app could be used much better inside the local network...
How to send footage to vMix using this app wirelessly? I see in this tutorial Tim is using the usb cable. I want to know if someone with a phone at a certain location of a concert can send feed to vMix at another location. Thanks for the app, I am trying it, so far so great.
@@TutorialsAiTools SRT is a network streaming protocol so it works indeed over wireless network. Tim uses cable for screen capture probably, not for streaming.
Hey! Probably not as thorough as it should be, but hopefully it gets across the main details of SRT transmission with the app. I'll let you know if we get any questions, we've had a lot of people asking about Larix.
You can use Larix Screencaster for streaming your phone screen content. Audio could be an issue though, as usually the in-app sound in unavailable due to security reasons.
@@Softvelum its a very nice app both the screencaster and broadcaster - it would be cool if the phone as able to use usb3 with a webcam connected - I am not really sure if this possible with maybe a elgato camlink device on the phone ? ;)
hola , por favor que puedo hacer para obtener mi una cuenta Larix broacaster , me encanta el video pero no veo donde usted viene con el ip server y port server
I used SRT but the AV received are so dealy and some time freez and some time lipsink out or video audio just like fast forward... what are resion, I have leased line both 2 vMix
Excuse me: Before using Larix Broadcast and vmix srt to connect, do I have to have a server ip? In addition, do I have to install Larix Broadcasc and Larix Screencast & SDK for Android in advance ?In Larix Broadcast, do I need to enter private IP or public IP? Thanks for your reply first
Can you do a proper video of using outside network? You example you are still using same network it is confusing. Am I adding Public Address of the 4G Phone or vMix PC.
I have Eero gateway installed to my Hitron modem. I am having struggle with creating srt. If I google my public address, that is totally different from what my private one is and starts like 99.235.... I went to the settings on the eero app and did the port forwarding. It doesn't work at all. Can you advise how to configure srt through eero in a bit more detail? TIA.
Hello sir, I am using mobile phone for recording, and my question is that there is a possible to upload my mobile phone recording approximate 1 hour and 7 mins into facebook without lowing the quality size?
I tried this with 2 different iPhones and my Galaxy S9 and on all of them I got the same error saying that they couldn't connect to server. I even tried 2 different IP addresses, first my local area connection, then just for kicks I tried my wifi and neither of them worked.
Hi . Nice tutorial . . it is fine within LAN but it does not work over 4G ... i even tried with the public ip directly to my pc to avoid any NAT Port forwarding issue ...still nothing.
Hello sir I have samsung glaxy s21 ultra phone. I wanna download vmix in my android phones Have you any idea for me? If u have then send me link or idea please
Hi, vMix team,if I don't have a public IP address, just have the inside network with a wireless router and the IP address like 192.XXX.XXX.XXX, how can I use 4g to streaming the camera outside?
@@PratamaMultimediaBali I believe the public IP address needs to be a static address. The public address displayed in "whatismyip.com", for example, is not accessible outside of your network. It WILL resolve in your browser INSIDE your network.
@@RubicsCube49 Yes, static IP address would be the best. Although if you really desperate, a dynamic IP address would work too provided that you know the address..but it is not ideal because it could change anytime
Hey man thanks alot it worked for me. I created it just like you said and I got my laptop IP ADDRESS and put it in and now it is showing through my VMIX thanks alot.
Hi Tim and Marin, it is Richard from South Africa and this is a cool app. I would like to ask how to I set up the URAY wireless encoders to work on VMix as the setting have been changed? Please could you let me know, thanks from Richard.
You could take a look at this video. I'm not sure what kind of controller you have, but you may be able to get an RTMP stream out. Then you could use something like MIST server to bring that into vMix. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-I_kbpjsUXZU.html
If you are connecting from outside your network, then you will need to port forward. You'll need to research how this is done with your specific equipment.
There are a few screen sharing apps that you could use. Alternatively you could use a connector that allows to you to convert from Lightning/USB-C to HDMI, then use a HDMI capture card in your production.
I was using WiFi in the first example and then 4G/LTE in the second example. The USB-C to HDMI was just so I could record the screen on my phone for the tutorial.
Great tutorial! I'm getting pretty poor quality when there's any significant movement on camera. I want to use this at sporting events and seem the pixilation I am getting would not be worth it. Any settings suggestions?
Unfortunately they removed the app from the Play store, so new Android users can't use it. If you already have it, you're in luck as you can still use it!
On an RTSP setup, such as all IP based cameras, there's also an app called RTSP Camera Server, which will have all cameras and the phone/tablet source having the same delay. Larix and RTSP Camera Server are both really easy to use. Larix's advantage, is that the user interface is immediately recognizable and intuitive.
