How To CONQUER Disney World’s Most Stressful Ride - Rise of the Resistance

Another great couple of tips that my wife and i found out: 1. if it says 75-95 on RoR good chance its actually 45 minutes. A big portion of the wait time is the super lengthy and in depth pre show. 2. If the line is in the tunnel near the mupets DO NOT GO. It will go down. Near the evening the wait times were fairly low but dont waste your time. 3. This ride breaks down a bit because of how complex it is. Hang out in galaxies edge while its down. Its usually short and then head over. Was it worth waiting every time? Yes. Its phenominal.

I’ve got a ride challenge for Quincy: Ride all the boat rides in the three parks with boat rides in one day. My friend and I are trying the boat challenge next week. For extra fun, drag Molly along so she can experience her favorite ride, Kali River Rapids.

I can’t choose who had the best footage they were all amazing and I loved that we got to see different scenes and different angles from the different points of view. Bravo all 🙌

Not loving that Genie+ keeps you in the park longer b/c your time gets pushed way later due to app traffic. This was a really helpful video. Love Molly’s character sightings.

I would def watch the “best queues” video. Molly mentioned she would recommend certain queues to wait in standby if they aren’t crazy long. I agree! I was a big fan of the StarTours queue back when it actually had a line. I also recently discovered how amazing the Peter Pan queue is because I had always skipped it! Had no idea. What others should we slow down for?

I doubt you will see this, but your videos truly carried me through Hollywood Studios. I just finished a full day of conquering all the rides and not staying at the Disney resorts. I actually stayed till closing and rode slinky, like you mentioned and it was amazing to ride at night. Thank you so much and your videos are amazing.

Just rode on Sunday as a nonresort guest. 90 minute posted wait at 5:50pm and only waited 60 minutes!! It was a nice surprise on a busy day

Hello gang! That was a great video, and it was good to see the real life options for a wait times on Rise play out. We were at the parks at the end of January, and tried for three days to get a fancy ride lightning Lane for Rise, (we were staying off property) and could never get it even though we were ready at the right time. We finally just did rope drop on day four, waited 40 minutes, and had fantastic intergalactic adventure!

Just had our Hollywood studios day yesterday and it rained a little and we saw the rise line was down to 90 minutes so we decided to wait and it was actually 35 minutes until we got into the preshow!!! I’m still in shock! 😂😱 you guys were so so so helpful!

This was a great video, thank you! I'd love a video for the night owls. Coming from the west coast, getting up super early sounds EXCRUCIATING!! Now, we will for HS. But I'd love a video showing Epcot and MK late entry (like go to the pool in the morning, head over around 1 or 2pm) on days with late park hours (deluxe guests) to show what the crowds are like in the later day and how to make the most of a late start - with using genie plus for those afternoon LLs. I will still get up to make those early 7am reservations, but not sure how easy it is to "schedule" for the later times instead of choosing the ASAP times. Hopefully that makes sense. Thank you for all your amazing videos, I'm feeling much more prepared after binging them :) 😁🐭

Love it! I enjoyed all the footage, but if I had to pick one, I would pick Breedlove’s footage, although I have to say Molly and Quincy’s always makes me smile. I would love to see someone use RideMax without Genie+, someone use Gennie +, and someone just go in and decide what to ride based on times posted by Disney and what they want to do. I would love to see it done in Magic Kingdom, same time entering park first thing in the morning with a preset amount of rides.

I love all the all ears videos! This is my favorite Disney blogger channel! You guys are amazing! Here’s an idea for a video(s): comparing driving time versus bus, etc from some of the farther resorts - example Animal kingdom lodge, Coronado springs, fort wilderness etc to MK front of park, etc. at the beginning of the day. Every time I see how long the bus takes from some of the resorts, I always wonder if driving your own car and parking would be faster.

I think Breedlove had the best footage. I would love to see a meeting character video now that there are characters in designated spots. My family is going in April and there will be 4 kids with us.

Note: Arriving to the park early as a resort guest is a great tip UNLESS the ride is down. We went in December and arrived really early. There were cast members saying the ride was down for technical difficulties and there wasn't an official line. It was really disappointing since we had followed all tips to guarantee a short wait but we stayed in the area and finally they let us join the line. It eventually was running and we were able to ride it after an oficial wait time of 65 minutes. I know it's an added cost but next time we'll buy the individual lightning lane for this ride.

I have a video idea I would love for you to make over spring break! Can you please do a wait time challenge in the parks (specifically MK) to see how many big attractions you can get done in the first 3 hours of park open 9:00am-12:00 vs the last 3 hours of the park 8:00-11:00pm! Going off of the app it looks like you'd be better off trying to hit all of the mountains and other big rides in the last few hours instead of the first three hours and I'd love to see if that's true. Thank you!! :)

Loved this experiment! HS has definitely become an early morning or late evening park for me since my last visit. Too many people, too weird of a layout, and not nearly enough shade to conquer the whole day there

I really enjoyed Breedlove's footage, although I liked Molly including the cast members in different sections of the ride. It reminded me that there are different parts and interactions in this experience.

Find these videos really helpful! Always tons of great insights. It would be nice if it was stated which day in particular you all did these tests to know if these are below/above average crowds to hopefully get a better gauge what to expect when I plan on visiting.

Quincy, last April when I visited Epcot, Their reservation site dropped my reservation just like yours was. Thankfully they took my word for it without me presenting a copy of the email confirmation and they corrected the problem immediately.

My fave ride footage was Breedlove's but they all deserve a rise (of the Resistance)

I think if this video taught us anything it's that HS needs another ride that lives up to the hype like Rise does. Something needs to relieve the pressure of that standby lol

Awesome vid; thank you; I also paid $15 to walk on Frozen three weeks ago and it was the best $15. I ever spent; by-passed at least 70-100 in stand by and walked in and onto boat non-stop.

I’m sure this is technically a lot harder than it sounds knowing how many people are in the app at once, but it would be nice if when you clicked a lightening lane it held your time for a period while you checkout, like sites do when you buy concert tickets, for example… even just for a minute, and especially for the fancy rides - if I have to pay I’d at least like a time near the one I pick 😂

We were just in Disney last week and got everything done that we wanted to using strategies I’ve learned watching these videos. We went to HS on our check in day, so I actually booked my first genie+ for slinky at 6am while sitting in the New Orleans airport. Booked my second genie+ for TSM at 11am while sitting down at the Poly to eat lunch at Capt Cooks. Booked my third genie+ at 1pm while stopping for a treat at ABC Commissary for Jungle Cruise later that night after fireworks. Booked my next genie+ at 3pm for Thunder while still in HS. Booked another one at 5pm for Splash. Then booked the final one at 7pm while eating dinner at Steakhouse 71 for Pirates. By the time we walked into MK for fireworks at 8pm, I had 4 rides in the queue ready to go. We then used our second HS day to rope drop Tower and Rockin (we were on the first elevator for Tower), watch shows, and rode Rise with the ILL I purchased that morning. It was our first trip without kids, so we were able to skip the younger rides. Lol. We also rope dropped MK another day and did all of Tomorrowland by 11:30am. We also rode 7D the first night by getting in line 5 minutes before park close. It was an amazing trip!!

When we went President’s Day Weekend we rope dropped Rise (couldn’t get a Genie+ pass). It broke down while we were in line and they weren’t offering anything if we got out of line. It took 4 and half hours to get on. But thanks to this channel I learned about the 120 minute rule so I had three other rides lined up before I got off the ride. I had to hurry to make Smuggler’s Run right after but it worked out.

Next time you stay at a resort can you test the time of the first bus that arrives, driving and/ or skyliner to see the most successful way to arrive for resort guests

Your Videos helped me navigate my vacation like a pro ( Just recently got back from my first ever trip) Second, I know you guys have done some transportation challenges and experiments..... Could you guys do Experiments regarding Bus times from swan and dolphin as opposed to Bus times from Yacht, Beach And Boardwalk Inns.. It is often said to take a Bus from a Disney Property if you are staying at Swan and Dolphin because it drops you at the Main Gate instead of TTC.. I'm just wondering if it is truly a time saver, or if it's just appearing that way......... Plus I love seeing you guys do these experiments. This video was Great as far as the difference in Wait times!!!!

Thanks for the tips! Here’s an idea for another video - which rides would you NOT skip the standby queue line?

Me and my family went to our first Disney World trip a few weeks ago as non-resort guests (but we’ve been to other Disney parks many times hehe), and we rode ROTR so many times without Lightning Lane!!! You do NOT need to buy it/stay onsite to ride it! Some tips: - Try to rope drop and get there as early as possible, and get it done and out of the way, cos the ride breaks down a lot so do it early - the morning and evening posted wait times are way higher than they actually will be cos there are less lightning Lane people interrupting the standby queue. Our first day the posted wait time in the morning was 95min, we waited only 45min!!! And the same evening, the posted wait time was 60min, we waited 30min! - Avoid the middle of the day, as the wait times will be the same/worse than the posted, because there are so many lightning Lane people stopping the queue from moving - if the ride breaks down, don’t lose hope, go on other rides but keep checking the app for when it reopens - if the ride breaks down and you’ve waited a long time already, don’t leave the queue, sometimes they will give you a lightning lane to use the next day for rotr or other rides (makes your wait not a waste of time!) Hope this helps someone and enjoy the ride, my dad and my sister and I are big Star Wars fans and we went on it without spoilers and it blew our minds, we were blown away :)

I didn’t know about the resort guests getting early access to lightning lane, I found that out the hard way when I visited DisneyWorld and waited 3 hours for Remys Ratatouille Adventure

We have had great success with arriving at 8pm and queuing - we got on Rise in 30 mins both times

Can you do a video going from Caribbean Beach Resort to Hollywood Studios on the skyliner for rope drop. Wanting to stay there this fall and would like to see how busy it is first thing. great video. That's the issue I have with RISE. I was at Disney 2 weeks ago. paid for genie+ for 2 people for 4 days, willing to pay for RISE but not staying at Disney Resort and still could not get on RISE without waiting in line and the ride was constantly breaking down.

Molly thanks for your fiddle faddle tips. Yesterday my husband and I were at Epcot. We are not resort guest. We did rope drop. I kept fiddling and faddling and managed to get a Remy lightening lane at 8:50 am. Tomorrow we’re headed Hollywood studios. Hoping I will have the same luck for rise.

ok, I have one, Early Entry for Remi's Ratatouille Adventure. Front of the park verses International gateway. We did this and found we actually rode the ride before the park even opened for Resort guests due to coming in from the Skyliner

Just because I like to watch Quincy take boat rides, how about a (predictable) race from Port Orleans Riverside to the Disney Springs Ferry Dock (or other DS location) via boat, bus, or ride share. Perhaps challenge the ride share option by doing a van share of they have one.
