Today I'm going to be showing you how to contour & highlight for beginners! I'll be going over all of my contouring tips and tricks to help you out. At first it's hard to know how to contour your face, but with these contouring hacks, you'll be good to go in no time! And we all know how to highlight is everything!! We're going to be doing cream contour and powder contour and I'll show you exactly where to put each and which products are worth your money. So you'll learn how to contour with powder as well as how to contour with cream. And also how to contour your nose!! But let me know if you want a more in depth version of how to contour your nose :) We'll also touch upon how to contour a round face since I have a round face! Hope this helps you out!

yes, but before that if you want it to stick and not hurt your skin, use a moisterizer than a primer, that way you're skin is safe and your foundation sticks!

I agree. I also noticed you have lots of different brushes with different numbers... I’m a beginner and can say I don’t know any of those brushes but maybe Mac. There are white concealers, such as the kat von d in the shade white-out, you could mix it with a concealer that's similar to your skin tone i guess 🤷🏻‍♀

Livi X get Kat von d white out if its too light alone then you can mix it with the lightest consealer. If you're using drug store concealer try buying Kat von d or urban decay concealers, they have a lot of lighter shades

I would love to see a beginner makeup series but do you think that it could be with drugstore products and brushes because most beginners can't afford all of the best high end products. As a mom I do use the hi end products but definitely agree to teach youngsters with drugstore products but keep in mind that all drugstore products are not created equally. Keep with cruelty free and toxic free products please. You are doing a great job!

To highlight just buy any concealer a shade or two lighter. To contour by a concealer a few shades darker. To set buy any translucent powder or a lightweight face powder. Don't stress about brands and such. That's all personal preference.

i think your bronzer from the kat von d palette is too dark for you, especially on your cheek bone. the contouring then becomes unnatural, like you have hair on your cheek.

I agree with the series for beginners. Because I have a million questions!!! Is there such a stupid question when it comes to this? Because I want to try it soooo bad. Do I use my liquid foundation before contouring????

yes you usually do your base makeup like foundation than afterwards contour! but in the end of the day it’s usually up to you and what you prefer

The "series for beginners" would be perfect! I just started seriously wearing makeup and this video taught me so much! Also, do you have an updated eyebrow tutorial?
