Tell me if I'm right. The input is taken from the left and middle of the potentiometer and the output is taken from the right and left of the transistor. When he turns the know to the left, the motor slows down because it increases the resistance to the right side(output) of the potentiometer. Thanks for the video. Most of these videos have not been edited to add text to screen to explain the action so I hope this helped.

Dear Viewer, Yes your right, when The potentiometer resistance is increased will the Transistor Gate Current is Decreased . Therefore Transistor Output voltage Decreased. Moter will run slow speed .

I make with this 10k potentiometer and irfz44n mosfate but problem i gift input 12v but output 9v. 3v less why?

Dear viewer, when your potentiometer in the circuit, you practically have a 10k resistance in the circuit which limits the current flowing through the this resistance If the resistance is small enough, will enough current flow that the the transistor . Recommend you please Used 5k or less resistance of Potentiometer. And some resistance Available in the Transistor. therefore some voltage and current less. Ohm law I = V / R V = I×R

Normally, most people would expect that to increase the speed, you would turn the dial clockwise, how would you need to wire this to achieve that please? Also, would you add a resister if the power supply and motor was 12v?

The input voltage is divided across both sides. If yo.u put in 12 volts and turn the know the voltage will drop. Turning to the left increases resistance. When resistance increases, so does the voltage drop. Turning to the left should reduce voltage drop to the transistor since reducing resistance to input of transistor increases current and voltage. Voltage should be reduced to transistor causing a voltage drop. If you are using a voltage regulator then the voltage will be set at voltage set by regulator.
