I decided to make a really quick video on how to control your Philips Hue Light Bulbs with Elgatos Stream Deck. The process is actually alot simpler then it seems. I orignally got this idea from a youtube channel called Paul Hibbert. You can Check his video out here: • How To Control Anythin...

thanks man! this helped me a lot because i have a scene specifically for streaming so it's so much easier now just to trigger that with one tap

GalacticJax yea that's pretty much what I wanted to set mine up for. I also talked to elgato about chaining buttons together so you can click one and a few will trigger. They said support isn't there yet but it is planned for a upcoming update.

Thanks Clarke. That was easy to follow. I've just installed a Hue Lightstrip and Go in my background. I'm going to set up lighting scenes for the different OBS scenes I use in my live streams. I'll use a 'multi action' on the Stream Deck to pair the lighting with my scene.

I mean I would go with two of the go lights...just because they are portable and you can put them where you need them and they have a nice even light

Can you explain how to pair the hue to the stream deck software if pressing the button on the hue device doesn't connect them? I can't figure out how to solve this. Thanks

They actually updated the hue connect now to where you can download the thing from streamdeck...I'll try to do a video on it tonight and show you

How do you setup more than one? I can't use a different key.

Where it says trigger a event and it gives you your key... You have to type in which function it is for... For instance I have them set up for multiple colors... So in one I change the text to red. And on a separate key I change that same text to blue. It's whatever you labed the action when you start setting it up.
