Control Servo Motor with EMG Muscle Sensor | Arduino:
In this video we will see how to control the servo motor with an EMG muscle sensor. In this project, we will use EMG Muscle Sensor. The Muscle Sensor measures the electrical activity of a muscle and produces an analog output signal that can easily be read by a microcontroller. In the coming days we will use this muscle sensor to control a robot hand.

Caution:
This sensors needs a positive and negative reference voltage. Two power supplies are required. The sensor has a maximum operating voltage of ±18 V; however, I recommend using no higher than ±9 V to minimize the risk of electric shock.

Do these sensors only work on large muscle areas like in the arms? I had this weird idea for using sensors like these to change the colour of an LED array in a costume, but using the sensors attached to the forehead (under a bandana or something) so that when the wearer frowned, the lights in the costume changed from say blue to red.

Mert Arduino Do you happen to have the schematic for the board because the emg sensor isnt picking up a signal, so I think I may have screwed up the wiring

Çok güzel bir proje elinize sağlık. Aynı sensörden ben de aldım. Fakat değerler çok değişken sağlıklı değil. Sensörlere birşey sürülüyor mu sıvı? 3 sensör var R R ve L bunlar hangisi nedir. Bazı projelerde sadece ikisi kullanılmış.

üstad kolay gelsin bir servo motoru arduino ve flex sensör yada emg sensör kullanılarak kontrol edildiğini gördüm ancak bu servo motorlar orta konumda iken sola ve sağa hareket ettiklerini görmedim, yani demek istediğim bir adet flex sensör ile ilişkilendirilmiş bir servoyu pilli bir aracın ön tekerleklerine bağlayıp sag sol yatırtmak mümkün mü ? youtube deki videolarda bulabildiklerime göre proje yapıcak olsak sensör gerilimi algılayınca araç misal sağa dönüş yapacak ve sensör gerilimi ortadan kalkınca tekrar tekerlekler düzelicek ben istiyorum ki bu servo orta konumda olsun ben uzaktan kumanda ile kontrol etmeyeyim aracımı eldiven yapayım parmağımı yukarı kaldırınca sağ aşağı basınca sol yapsın. dersenki bir servo için o zaman 2 flex lazım yada emg sensörü 4 tane lazım sorun değil ama nasıl yapabiliriz bizi bilgilendirebilirseniz seviniriz.

I was using one of these to make an EKG but my girlfriend has muscular dystrophy and I’d much rather use it to make a motor assisted knee brace. Anybody recommend any resources I can use to learn more about servo and stepper motors? I’m still fairly new to arduino and raspberry pi

I dont know why but mine EMG sensor burned when I connected the 2x 9v, do you know whats wrong? Negative of battery 1 to the (-) on the sensor, connected pos and nagative (ground) and pos of battery 2 to the (+)

hola!ns porq pero en el serial monitor me va súper rápido,es decir las subidas y bajas van muy rápido ,y no me detecta al cerrar el puño y al abrirlo,pero sí q al ir tocando un poco el sensor emg varían los números,puede ser q el sensor esté roto?

I have set this up exactly the same way as you have in the video - My muscle sensor reads between 0 and 1. - I can't seem to get this to work correctly. I am using the exact same sensor and an Arduino UNO and literally copied and pasted your source code (as well as other peoples and tried initially to use an ESP32 chip) Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
