I created this video to help car enthusiasts looking to restore their favorite classic vehicles powered with electric motors instead of gasoline/IC engines. I used 5 Tesla batteries for 70-mile range and NVIDIA Jetson Edge AI platform for the safety and control features. Electric vehicles (EV) are good for our environment and I hope additional R&D by enthusiasts will help advance this sustainable technology. Enjoy!

Jetson Supported Features
1. Tachometer (RPM), in older cars are connected to the engine directly. I use Jetson to read the RPM from electric motor controller and run a motor connected to the mechanical tachometer in TR6
2. I have installed a camera on the dashboard so I can monitor;
a. Security of the car using Deepstream. If the camera detects anyone in or around the car that is not authorized to be there, Jetson starts verbal messages and then eventually generates emails / alarms
b. Jetson AI uses the dash camera to recognize me or someone I have authorized to drive the TR6
c. Enable the car only when both driver and passenger are wearing seatbelts
3. Read front and rear battery temperatures and translate to analog dials in the car
4. Continuously read the total Battery capacity and display on the analog fuel gauge
5. Use front and rear Lidar to generate alarms if objects are in the path or too close
6. Use front camera to generate lane departure alarms
7. Use front Lidar and camera to run cruise control in the car
8. Communicate with the Motor controller through Can I/O bus and display necessary information
