HOW TO: CONVERT Accuair CVT to VT!

I shook my head when I seen these where actually a thing. A hot normally moisture rich environment definitely it’s an ideal place for any of this stuff. It was like a year ago at slamboree I heard there was massive failure rates with the in tank compressors. Honestly if you are going with that hidden install do just that place the stuff out of sight but serviceable

I agree it looks like a lot of corrosion, especially in a super dry AZ climate. I can tell you though, we had huge success with the VT. I can’t think of a single failure we encountered 🤗

The compressors aren't operated by the CVT or by a VT, they get signal to turn on and off from the e-Level or Switch Speed ECU/digital pressure switch or they stand alone with their own pressure switch

You can use any of the un-used ports after the conversion. We typically use the two side ports on the back of the tank like Accuair recommends for the VT.

O-Ring kit and VT wiring harness is now available and on the website. We will explore the option of an external pressure sensor on the next failed CVT that comes across our shop

@@switchsuspension so even if I buy the harness and internal pressure switch has failed, I'm still shit out of luck? Sounds like I'll have to go back to VU4 and use the tank only as CVT only as a tank? Thanks for your time and what you do for the community. Only if you had a classic e-Level with a WiFi adapter

There is much more going on then an off the shelf compressor from Wabco. Unforturnately we cannot source a replacement for it. Honestly its typically the internal ECU or pressure switch that is the real cause of failure.

No, they do not. Unfortunately there’s not any options for your situation

Yes, you will still be able to use your e-Level. If you are running an e-Level+ system with the M8 plug you will need to get the e-Level classic wiring harness as well. Single or dual compressors setups will work. The e-Level ECU will trigger a relay to turn the compressor(s) on and off to regulate the pressure in the tank 👍🏼

The solenoid valve inside the tank is not closing all the way

@@iivanTV you can pull your tank apart and disassemble the intake valve, clean out the ports/sealing surfaces and reassemble. We have not tried this before, only converted to a VT

Accuair is back and was purchased by Arnott. But they are not bringing back the Endo CVT

Has two compressors and extra tank with own compressor sens its work but still does not get contact flashes yellow around 123 then lights up red on the up and down buttons. I have r10 ecu so would be happy for help

They are removing the compressor so it can be used as an air tank now that accu has gone under.

Yes that’s correct, we installed a Viair 444c dual pack for compressors. They are hidden behind the tank 😉
