I spent hours following other steps from other sources and none of them worked. I was able to do it in minutes because of this video. Thank you I appreciate it so much
WOAHHHH, I did it!! Fantastic instructions! Thank you soooo much! Now I get to hear my cute doggo’s play-growl& bark whenever I have an incoming text, which makes me smile! Ergo, thank you for all of the smiles that you have so generously gifted me!
Thank you so much, this works. By the way if you want to use a screen recording you have to convert it using an online converter then you can continue. :)
For alarms you don’t need to jump through hoops to get your favorite song played back. Simply create a new alarm and select the song you like from your music selection.
NYstories Thank you for the reply. I actually did a little digging and I had to download a “video to mp3” app first. But I figured it out. But once again thank you for the reply!!
While this is good, you could make this better by showing the icons you press as you say them. I’m not familiar with some of the selections therefore I don’t know which icon to touch.
Thanks for your feedback. I will definitely do this in my next video, as I can’t make changes to an already uploaded video. Were you able to create your ringtone with these instructions?
When I tap share it does not work. Instead of seeing song, ringtone, & project it shows who I can send it to and the apps. Am I doing something wrong please tell me
@@newYorkStories thanks for quick response. my own recording using Voice Memos. Save into GarageBand for iOS. MPEG-4 audio - 209 KB . No, I recorded it yesterday .... just my voice.
@@newYorkStories below are my answers. all worked well up to the 2minute mark of your video.... I can also access on my mac mini, but need to know how to save where it would appear on my iphone 12 pro
@@K-TOD I just recorded a voice memo on my iPhone Pro 12 and went through my own tutorial video to make sure it's still working, and successfully created a ringtone with the steps above. Some menu items have changed since I first recorded this video, but the process is the same. Now, for your case: Where are you originally recording your voice memos? Inside the Voice Memos app? When you say the audio file is grayed out, are you able to navigate to the file inside Garageband on your phone and play it there?
@@newYorkStories Recorded in Voice Memos App. I can navigate within Garageband and play it there. It wasn't appearing after hitting select and now it is. Maybe it just needed some time (had tried rebooting iPhone a couple times, yesterday. But all is working NOW and was able to export with a message: "Ringtone Export Successful." Thank you so much for your follow-up. I was not expecting that.
One of the reasons apple is slacking compar ed to android in my opinion. Look at all this work. Anyways thank you very much for the video. Great explanation. May the Lord Jesus bless you!
justin bouy Glad to hear it worked for you. It could be as easy as “save audio as ringtone”, but no, we have to go on RU-vid to find tutorials instead.
Lwarnick43 I like how android lets you download stuff straight to your phone, do split screen, I feel like the interface is more user friendly but maybe just because I’ve been using android for so long. Also IPhone has no as card option, they’re significantly more expensive. Stuff like that
