In this video I show what you will need and how to install the parts needed to convert a Lincoln Electric Weld Pak 100 flux core welder to a MiG welder. It’s actually quite a simple process, but I’ve noticed on the majority of videos on this process they miss several steps you need to do. So I thought I’d show what you need to change so nothing is missed!

The solenoid I got was from an old MiG welder I had laying around that no longer works, but I have seen online ones for sale for decently cheap as well. I just didn’t feel like waiting for one to come in the mail lol

Is the 100 weld-pac capable of welding 14 gauge aluminum?

I don't think it'll weld aluminum, just steel

Hey I just found this deal and wanted to shareit. Time saver... The Lincoln MIG Conversion kit is over $400. Which is just stupid. Its similarly priced everywhere except for good Ole Summit Racing. I got the Lincoln Kit from Summit Racing for $174. Everything you need all brand new and compatible. * New cable liner * Two 0.025 in. contact tips * Gas nozzle * 2 lb. spool of .025 in. SuperArc L-56 mild steel MIG wire * Adapter for CO2 cylinders * Gas regulator for Argon and Argon-blend gases * Gas solenoid * Hoses * Connectors * Instructions I priced it all up on slamazon and it cost more individually unless you buy the the cheapest stuff you can find. There are two kit versions K610-1 for 120 volt machine and K610-2 for 220 volt machine. Unless you have all this shit laying around or a lot of time which I dont here is an option- www.summitracing.com/parts/LCN-K610-1
