All work permit visa’s have specific points that one must fulfil. L1 is intra-transfer. And for h1b, application to be filed in april, and if granted, one can work only from october. No company would wait so long. There is no special work permit visa that will be given to tourists if they get a job, and existing ones are very difficult. Don’t make it sound, like its a very easy process. Still the best processes to shift to US remain Family immigration, become student in US, L1 transfers from India, etc
Getting USA tourist visa itself is not easy one. Converting work permit from tourist visa is obviously a huge challenge but same is permitted by USCIS. You must have seen the twits. Many people are not aware of it. USCIS is modernizing it’s immigration system. That’s why they are making ways for all options like other countries like Canada and Australia has. This was permitted by keeping H1B1 candidates in mind who were laid off by tech companies. Initially they had only 60 days for getting new job , if they have B1/B2 they have enough time of 6 months to get job and get work permit obviously that would not be H1/B1 visa. Let people try and get what they they deserve for. My objective was to make people aware about visa conversion!!!

If the company which sponsors you is reputed and big company then you can get work permit. Small company sponsorships is not accepted by USCIS for converting in work permit

Bro As such there is no system in USA which is fir truck drivers exclusively. Legal immigration is mainly for skilled professionals only like engineers but not for blue color jobs like truck driving
In order to change status one needs to remain in status throughout the process. Maximum limit of stay in US on toursit visa is 6 months. H1B process takes a long time and so does other visa categories. Whats the guarantee that the change of status will be processed in less than 6 months? Will you provide that guarantee? If it takes more than 6 months then you wont be able to change status and will have bar for 10 years. This is why it is not encouraged or recommended to change status on a tourist visa. Stop fooling people.
Who gives guarantees in this world? I shared the news which is approved by USCIS. You will get work permit or not , it will depend on how capable you are and how quickly the employer helps in getting work permit. There are critical jobs if you get them, you will get work permit without any delay Specially in engineering and medical field. It’s not about fooling people. First of all, one cannot apply for any immigration benefit within first 60 days of your status as a tourist as this will demonstrate immigration intent which goes against your tourist visa policy. Then you are left with 4 months. Do you really think it is practical for someone to get an H1B in 4 months? Please do some research before responding rather than just spreading news from USCIS.
