One of the most valuable lessons that I've learned over the last few years is how important it is to involve your clients in the process of creating the images. I've found that doing so makes them feel invested in the final product, and you're less likely to have them come back with critiques even when you're photographing something less than "creative."

SO. TRUE. I think a lot of times we may even get a little defensive when we select the shots that we think are best, but the client disagrees. This way, we can simply cut our editing time down and deliver exactly what they want. At the end of the day, happy clients mean more work! Thanks for sharing!

Yay great to see you back Jeff! Thanks for the powerful reminder - I can implement that immediately. Love the B-roll cuts, and I know it takes more time to edit - really appreciate your effort to produce valuable content! Have an amazing day!

Thanks so much! My team is slowly getting back into the swing of things. We had some hiccups along the way, but I have some cool new projects coming out soon! :)

Welcome back! It’s been so long that people have started paying me to take their picture in the mean time. Your fault Jeff: you started it! 😉⭐️

Hey Jeff! Love my copy of Photographing women. Wish the men's book was still available physically in stores. Online it's in the 100s. Anyways, I am a prior service Marine and I see "Devil Dog" (it's a nickname for Marines translated from German which we call each other) a few times on the clothing. Is there a link for the brand? Thanks!

Thank you so much! It's something that I'm proactively working on fixing now (Photographing Men V2). Devil Dog is an amazing company founded by a veteran in 1948. Here's their story and their website: devil-dog.com Most importantly! Thank you for your service. :)

Awesome advice. Welcome back! Hope to see more content. Kind of off topic, will you offer any photography training videos like from CreativeLive, Patreon, etc.. I know that would involve some time and all. I have been doing dance photography, however, i would like to branch out to commercial photography.
