What size is your roaster?

Roux 101: mix oil and flour, bake in oven @350*, stirring every 10 minutes until desired color. That gumbo looks great!

Do u prefer ur potato salad on side r in the gumbo?

Let your oil heat up and then add your flour. The roux will not take as long to make.
