I’m originally from Jackson, MS, just up I-55. My father did a lot of business in New Orleans. I’ll never forget the big box of boudin he brought home. I was hooked from day one in 1994.
I’m at this Restaurant called County Cajun Seafood Market & Boudin in Jackson, Ms off of I 55. I just purchased some crawfish boudin 😊 This will be my first time trying thrm. Fingers crossed 🤞🏽
Perfect! I boiled my in chicken broth, garlic and onion and fried them just as you did, and it what soooooo delicious! Thank you for the quick and easy way! 😅
My son in law gave me some. I boiled it and then sort of seared it in a pan like you said. DAMN! Good eats. I like spicey food myself but whoever made this for my son in law likes it spicey too. I’m gonna eat my next links with some grits and eggs. Thanks.
Cook it in a crookpot wrapped in foil for about 30 mins add a small amount of water in the crookpot ..that will cook it and allow that skin to become crispy
Why is boudin not healthy? There's pork, chicken livers, celery, onions, garlic, peppers, chives, parsley, and rice. That's almost a full meal in itself.
LOL It was thawed out after I steamed it. I grew up in Lake Charles, La where we fried, grilled, smoked and steamed. This time I fried it. You don't have to like it, but thanks for watching 😉
