I must say I really enjoyed the lentil soup with sausage but in the place of sausage I do like you do I modify it to my own flavor and what I did was I cut up some pork chops and did that had the flavoring for the sausage but it tasted very good I loved it keep up the good work I enjoy your recipes
I love all the ingredients in the soup. Looks great. Although I would never measure and weigh my veggies. I would be putting the whole carrot, potato etc in. I can hear my Mother now telling me there are starving children in China so don't waste anything. Lol
Dennis soup looks and sounds so good I got to make it, I like your video how can we go wrong with everything shown and done so well, off topic I have a question to a problem I have making bread. White Sandwich loaf bread, I can ot and want the crumb like store bought but an told by flour companies it can not be done at home since commercial bread makers use a bread enhancer.
King Arthur Flour sells dough enhancer. I never tried it. Commercial bread companies also have ovens designed for bread. For bread I use vital wheat gluten (available in many stores) and for flavor I substitute a bottle of lager beer for 1½ cups of the water. I like the results. Thanks for the positive feedback on my videos.-Dennis
Just found your You Tube channel, subscribed and really enjoy your vids. Having recently discovered the wonderful Pressure Cooker I wonder if this soup could be used in it?Also If you could post some of your recipes in which you use the pressure cooker would really be appreciated.------------Thanks
Hi Ken. I think most beans do well in a pressure cooker. I haven't experimented with them all. I wonder about lentils though. Could they turn to mush? I don't know. There is one way to find out… Thanks for the comment. I'll look into my pressure cooker cookbook for recipes I can do with my pressure cooker. Thanks for that good idea.-Dennis
