So our aquariums and fish tanks are getting to warm and hot and you are looking for a way to cool down that aquarium.
If you are wondering how hot the fish tank can be and if the temperature will kill your fish this video will show you how to cool down your tropical tank and marine aquarium. These are some pretty easy ways to achieve the correct temperature in your fish tank and with the summer and heatwave this year they are well worth being prepped with to help keep that correct temperature in your aquarium.
Heat waves and warm houses can cause major issues in our fish tanks and cause the aquariums to overheat or get to warm and we as fish keepers need to take action to help keep the fish alive in these warm temps.
The warmer fish tanks can catch us by surprise so the video will show you the easiest ways to help maintain your fish tank temperature and additional things to keep an eye on and change on your aquarium set up!

Used the frozen water bottle trick myself a few times before in other houses. My tank is now in a North facing room so a lot easier to manage on this front.

if the tank is located in a darker part of the house, I think it's also good to change the lighting period for lights to turn on at night. I usually set mine to 6:00 PM - 12:00 AM. it removes any additional heat source during the day while adding some heat for the fish at night, also saves you a bit of electricity as the tank would be the one lighting the room and you can now look at your fish more at night if you work during the day.

So bummed for Mick's Fish , I hope to God it is not one of his Arowana, Stingrays or ? I am sure glad you mentioned to leave the heaters on since my instincts was to unplug when 5 of my 7 tanks were 84 -86 or 28+ and I think it was a fear of all the faulty heater content that comes up on certain US channels and the ironic thing is that it has been multiple times for a certain You Tuber and the other day I had a few questions for him as well as pointing out to him that he himself is possibly the cause for his issues and not the manufacturer because as he is livestreaming the aftermath of his tragic experience and calling out the company to make sure he is reimbursed I sent him a STOP TAKING LIVE HEATERS OUT OF THE WATER , it's not that hard to see they all have a water level indicator and for a few seconds or more he looks like he is doing an impersonation of John Williams directing the London Symphony Orchestra😲 WTF ? I couldn't believe it was really happening and then seeing his cords looking like Clark Griswald had just finished lighting the house for Christmas ...so I ended my comments w/ " you might want to watch a few videos on Aquarium electrical panels and nothing good comes from heater cords or any other equipment coming from the front of the aquarium period 🤕
