You are so welcome! Can I ask what sort of terms you were searching on when looking for a solution? I definitely want to add those terms into my blog post where this video also lives, to help folks find it when they need a solution! 😊
I love you! I was banging my head against the wall and you explained this so well. I appreciate that you spoke at a good pace for me to follow. I am now subscribing. Thank you!!!
@@callinkin @gllamlife if you have an iPhone- word is that with the update this function no longer works. A simple copy paste on elements and pages worked for me when i held out on updating my phone. I updated last week and it no longer works. I haven’t found a work around as I largely work from tablet or phone….the inability to do this is killing me!
@@callinkin oohppp!! I figured out a way! It works! - Add a new page to your design. -From the toolbar at the bottom/side of the editor, tap on Projects. - Tap on the Designs tab. - Tap on the design you want to copy. If the design has multiple pages, tap on the page you want to copy. It’ll be automatically added to the design you’re working on.
You have to do it a different way in the mobile app: 1) Create a new page in the design where you want the design to be brought into 2) Open "Projects" in the app (while you have the editor open) and locate the design you want to pull from 3) Select the page you want to pull into your new design It should automatically pull it in from there.
You can use the Typecraft app under Apps to skew text, but it's a more limited subset of fonts than you can access in the regular Canva designer. But you *can* edit it after it's been added, by double clicking on the type craft element, editing as needed, and then updating the element. You'd do that all via the app, not within the editor's regular text box.

Is there a feature in particular you'd like to see that would make the process easier for you? I'm always curious to know what Canva features are most in demand!
Hi Laurie! If you're moving a slide design from Design A into Design B, the slide carried over to Design B will be identical to what is in Design A. From there, if you want to incorporate the content into a new design, you would need to adjust it from there in terms of size, formatting, layout, etc.
When you have a design open, you'll see a little grid icon in the lower right corner of your screen. It'll look like 4 little boxes assembled to create a larger box. Clicking on that will open grid view. 😊
Unfortunately I don't work on the mobile version or create content for mobile/tablet, but I've made a note of this because it's something a number of folks have asked about!

Is it possible to copy a locked page from one design and then paste it into a grid section of another design with multiple sections per page? The actual dimensions are the same.
Hi Joyce! I'm not sure how I missed your question previously... thanks for your patience! Do you mean is it possible to copy a locked page from one design to another design? Yes, I believe you should be able copy a locked page -- I just tested it to confirm and it worked. But I'm not sure what you mean by "paste into a grid section of another design with multiple sections per page" -- can you clarify? 😊
I created individual Bible verse cards, and then I wanted to paste them into a page with a 8-rectange grid (so purchasers could print 8 Bible cards to a page. I've managed to do it by copying each element individually, and it generally puts them in the right spot. But it would be quicker to copy the individual cards the original document into the new grid document in one step. If it's not possible, I can make it work the way I've been doing it. Thanks!@@BrendaCadman
Well shoot, it looks like I totally missed your reply to my reply! It sounds like you've probably already found a solution, but what you might want to try is using a grid from under Elements > Grids and then pull final images of your designs into those grids. This video I just put out recently will show you how to quickly save your designs as images in order to do that more easily: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RQL7m4AEq1c.html
@@regelmanuel3710 Hi there! Just seeing your comment now. Unfortunately I don't use Canva on a mobile or tablet device so I'm afraid I can't advise on the steps to take on an iPad. I find the desktop browser version to be much more flexible for my design workflow as a business owner and that's where my expertise lies.

When you're in Canva's editor, in the right hand bottom corner you'll see a little icon that looks like 4 squares that create a larger square... click on that to go to grid view. 😊
