Medium or heavy body should be used

There shouldn't be a need to do the screw test after modification. The purpose of the one screw test is to verify that the analogs in our master model match the implant positions in the mouth. If you modify the jig, the position of the interfaces will be set by the actual implants. Since you are seating each section separately before luting them back together, they should all be completely seated and accurate since there's no chance of any section being held up by another.

If the jig seats perfectly, there is no need to take a new impression. If any of the units don't seat and you have to cut and lute the jig, we recommend a new impression using that jig. However, typically a new impression isn't absolutely necessary as the lab can use the jig to realign the analogs in the master cast.

From what we have seen and heard from our customers, they can be difficult to section and re-lute and they also don't seem to work as well for doing a pickup impression. We are aware of other labs that prefer them though!

Resin also shrinks. The two different materials we use shrink in different ways, but they still both shrink.
