Oh my goodness I HAVE to try this!!! That is adorable…so many ideas running through my head. I have the Gammill with Statler…do you know what type of foot I need to buy? And the yarn? Is this something you guys carry? I just can’t wait to try this! Thanks Mr. C…what a great idea. Have a terrific weekend.

RIGHT! The possibilities are endless. You would need the approach foot system from Gammill. In the full set there is a couching foot. The yarn is from Amazon, Michaels, JoAnn, etc. Bernat Blanket Yarn Size 6.

Love this all-over design-Great idea! When couching yarn, do you use a zigzag or straight stitch-assuming zigzag to ‘catch’ the yarn? You suggested finishing borders by bringing backing fabric to front; I plan to finish off by couching additional one to two rows along the edges.

We use a straight stitch, but you could use a zigzag one also. We find with the combination of the size hole in the foot and the size 6 thread, it falls right into place using the straight stitch.

Awesome and quick baby quilt. What speed do you recommend to work on a computerized?
@LindasElectricQuilters
@LindasElectricQuilters Год назад
Hi Rey! Corey normally does couching at about 50% speed. He may increase or decrease the speed depending on the complexity of the design.

I have the classic plus from year 2000 would the approach foot system fit my machine and how difficult is it to put onto the machine?
@LindasElectricQuilters

The approach system should fit on your machine, but we have never installed one. You would have to contact Gammill.

What weight in top and bottom, too

Corey used OMNI thread on both. The yarn didn’t have a color name. He got it from Michael’s.
