Sadly there is no way to know how many wishes you would need to get a 5 star as it mainly depends on the person's luck. You're really lucky if you get a 5 star in 5 pity win or lose
I have questions tho. Last Clorinde banner I lost my 50/50 to Keqing, pulled again 4 10x and didn't get any lucky. Tried to pull once in Furina banner but lost ig? And now I counted I had 49 pulls (which I didn't get any 5star). Does this mean I have 49 pity? Is that good?
While there's a chance of getting duplicates, it's not big enough to guarantee them. It's like rolling a dice; you might get the same number twice in a row, but it's not guaranteed.
So, on each page there are 5 wishes. However, on page 6, there's a 5-star character so instead of just counting it as five wishes, we count up to just before reaching the 5-star rating.
Sadly no once you get a five star your pity resets back to 0. If you get diluc on limited banner your guaranteed to get the currently available five star on limited banner but if it's on standard then life goes on like nothing happened
