It's crazy how he consistently landed the front-dash combo extender despite having an average of 150 pings. Not many people could play like him with a high amount of ping. Truly one of the best players skill-based in TSBG.
to be brutally honest people tend to call tatsumaki, sonic, and genos "spammer" even if they do combos, and when garou/saitama do combos, they can be considered good or by some toxic people as "tryhards".
It’s cuz pressing 1234 on those characters do crazy dmg, and standing there pressing 1234 with saitama or garou isn’t gonna work. Also cuz sonic and genos run
I learned this from my own expirence against passive players, don't dash first you gotta wait for the right moment, dashing when they dash isn't the right moment too because if the distance is only a bit off they will block again after the dash animation finishes and you'll get comboed, as he showed in the video too being passive yourself helps a lot because they'll get impatient, if you start doing m1s and they're blocking after 2 m1s you can sidedash to get to a safe distance, at least this has been working for me
For those that have no skill and think that spamming is a thing,IT IS NOT!Its simple combos that everyone does and if someone is TRULY spamming his every move,if you have 0.00001 ip you should know that you can counter that by blocking.About counters though...BAIT THEM!
Im a passive player and imo the best way to counter passive players are 1. Play passive 2. Keep distance until they become impatient 3. Punish them This should take around 5-10 minutes edit: Alot of passive players dont know how to adapt. This makes it really easy to catch them off guard.

pretty sure the main reason lock on is a thing is because on controller you can’t use your camera joystick and M1, Dash, or Block at the same time because all of those buttons require your right thumb
Nah just dash away to dodge it then front dash it after they miss Don't use counter unless you see them stop but if you have high ping and have to pre-counter I cannot help you You can also just catch them with an M1 or an ability but it definitely has risk
playing with spam characters be like: countering a cheater:spam countering a sweaty:spam(or not) countering your friend:spam coutering a spammer:spam too

yo bro im trying skills like backdash cancel and the unescapable downslam but, it seems like you need high ping for it which i dont have. this is a weird question but how do you average 100-150 ping?
SO FELLA'S LEMME BREAK IT DOWN FOR YALL STEP BY STEP STEP 1: BE PASSIVE (FULL BLOCK) = by doing this step they will think their fighting a brick wall STEP 2: ONLY ATTACK USING LONG ARM = when you caught em lacking but them dudes are out of reach like 3 to 4 tiles. Long arm those annoying brats dont use your front dash cuz if you do your asking for a full plate of mediocre combo's ALSO TRY NOT TO STOP HOLDING BLOCK IF THEY CAUGHT YOU LACKIN YOUR GONNA GET EM SPAMMING STEP 3: USING BLOCK BREAKERS THEY ALWAYS USE BLOCK WHEN THEY MISS, SO BREAK IT= they won't know what hit them. Unless you miss and if you miss you pray to god that your opponent is crossed eye and that they use every move on their arsenal on air STEP 4: ALWAYS USE ENDLAG FRONT DASHES (THE ONES WHERE YOU TURN SLOWLY)= by doing this step the chances of your front dashes hitting an annoying brat increases. But if you fail to hit that brat you will get punished but the chances of you getting punished are lower than using a normal front dash so dont worry about it
Indeed, the only battlegrounds game I've played that doesn't have shitty controls with high ping is Ultimate Battlegrounds It's insane how Oul is playing with 150+ ms and landing all those techs and stuff
Here are a few tips for high ping: - Do not time your M1s early, the M1s appear to be delayed but they aren't - Your opponent's body will appear delayed but their hitbox isn't so don't aim to land hits on where the opponent is, aim to land hits on where they are going - Learn to use true downslam to take advantage of your high ping - Learn to use no endlag front dash to take advantage of your high ping - Learn to use back dash cancel to take advantage of your high ping - Block where your opponent is going to hit from later instead of where they are currently hitting you from - Be aware that all of your movement is delayed to your opponent so you know to dodge earlier and such - I give up giving more tips those should be more than enough
