How to use Royal Recruits? Put them down and win. There's limited tech tips for Royal Recruits since there aren't many deploy options. The problem is learning how to counter them. They will need a nerf VERY soon.

Gamer Z they aren’t overpowered. They are easy to counter and you can mount a small counterpush. What you need to do is use more than one troop, you need to use a combo. They’re also really expensive.

Patchster Yeah the royal recruits are OP. They basically counter every single troop except the lavaloon. They can kill mega knight, pekka, valkerie, golem, anything and, in addition, start a counter push.

Ok real talk: if tornado executioner is still viable, would a hog cycle (with ice golem) in conjunction with tornado executioner be a good counter to these guys? I don't know what the meta is now, but it's just my two cents.

The ice golem would be used to lure the guards and whatever is behind them in time for the tornado to pull them all in for the executioner to well... execute them. A spell or two could speed up the process (e.g. log to set up a hog push)

that is a very smart nerf idea. as oj said, 1 recruit only does about 150 damage on the tower solo. Even if they all lost 1 hit off the tower which is like a 3% hit speed reduction, it would reduce their overall damage by like 60% yet still keep them impactful enough with their first 1 - 4 swings. So hit speed and initial hit nerf. Good call

I feel as though a good change maybe would be to reduce or remove their spears. This is what was done to NW a while back and honestly I really miss that ranged toothpick of hers against like a Valkyrie. Also a big issue with them is the health post shield. It's just so much and collectively, they can tank so long for cards such as dart goblin, bats, or anything.

there is. valk does it, ice golem plus 3 elixir ranged is another way. I think you can even tornado toward the center and pull toward the king tower using skeletons.

I use royale recruits in my deck and they can still be op with al the "POSETIV ELIXIR TRADE" in both ofens and defense.

I can deal with them easily Fire spirits to take out 1 lane, then the other lane can be taken out by almost anything

Exactlt what I do,my level 10 fire spirits can immediatly kil them,and a valkyrie will finish the rest of them off with a prince for a good push

I think it's a cool card forces your opponent to play a card in the other lane and opens the game up for two simultaneous tower pushes most games players just focus on one tower at a time this adds chaos really
