Wow I never knew this and I've been playing for ages. The most interesting is the Air block because it seems you can use abilities while people hit you that's pretty crazy

@@Kid_Vinnie Exactly these hidden mechanics are crazy especially since updates stopped. The developers probably don't even know about these glitched mechanics such a fluke! Without parrying and stamina the game would be extremely boring
I do the air block a ton by accident. I’m getting spammed on so I try to dash through them and jump away, but the enemy somehow magically cancels my dash through sheer willpower and I end up jumping in front of them. Luckily if you dash while holding block and then immediately jump the game forces you into a short hop so I just accidentally block in mid-air so I’m always saved from certain death.
Haha that’s funny. Yeah if your getting spammed, especially by multiple players, and you try to dash through them your going to get staggered a lot bro. I honestly wish they took that factor out of the game 💯
I have played this game way more than a human should, rarely do I see firsts this is a first. I wouldnt ever suggest jumping when being attacked but this feels like a good way to show off
Oh yes I’m with you man. I have a ton of hours in this game as well, but I think the best thing about the Air Parry is that it counters one of the best maneuvers in the game imo 😁

I’m ganna go with yes it does, but honestly even if it doesn’t; his jump is so quick that it’s actually a benefit for him because it’s unorthodox and can throw people off if they use it correctly.
It should work for all Lightside blasters, it’s like a bug in the game. Actually not sure about Chewie since his blaster is like an explosive. Could be a good tactic to friendly fire Yoda though in 4v4s to give him stronger pushes to support the team! 🔥

Funny thing is that I actually already knew about this I figured out what I was dueling with my friend but when I saw the title of this video I was like no they figured out the secret 😭
Haha yeah man I figured it out like back in August of 2020 when people actually started Jump Attacking me back. I wasn’t used to that because up to that point I had been like the only one who was jump attacking and one day I parried it on accident. Since then I’ve been trying to perfect the move, but I’m sure I’ve got it now.
@@Kid_Vinnie oh I only figured it out like three months ago so funny thing I was dueling and I accidentally Press the jump button and I realize that I blocked his hook swing and ever since then I’ve been doing it a bunch and it’s one of my favorite moves
This happens a lot as a side effect of doing butterfly swings with Grievous, so if you're new to this and want to see what it's supposed to feel like, I'd recommend that before trying other characters. Nice video

I actually found one of my friends to be in your video "John 03" I also have a lot of questions bout somethings 1. Sometimes i'll see you swing two or three attacks really fast but it's not parrying ( 2 quick hits followed from hook slash37:05 ) 2. What are the hit boxes for jump attacks? I'll find myself in situations where i can jump attack from a distance and hit my opponent but they can't hit me , so is it true? 3. is it possible to block even when knocked down? I've done it by accident, and i've seen other people do it to me but i don't know how it's done. love this channel, keep up the good work.
Hey thanks for reaching out man yeah John is my guy haha😁 1. Usually you can only get 1 extra hit after landing a jump attack and it just has to do with if you are “extending” your jump attack or not. If you do it’ll position your body in just the right spot to be inside your opponents hit box so you can follow up. I’ll make a video that will touch on extending it 🙏🏽 2. The hit boxes for jump attacks are equivalent to those of a lunge attack. Lunge attacks allow you to swing your lightsaber and hit some from from far away and that works the same for jump attacks too. Because of the way the hit box responds if you were to just do a small hop and swing you may be able to hit someone running up to you without your lightsaber physically touching them in game. That’s why jump attacks can be useful if your getting a running start at someone and then you jump swing you can still hit them from an abnormal distance without touching them. I cover that in the beginning part of my “How to Jump Attack” vid. 3. Yes it is very possibly to block while on the ground, I actually have an example of that also in my “How to Jump Attack” vid if you skip to the part where I’m Kylo and fighting Anikan on Bespin. It happens in the very beginning of that fight. I don’t know how to do it on command, so I’ve been experimenting with it 🤙🏽

In game settings ⬇️ Soldier sensitivity: 100 Zoom sensitivity: 65-80 Dead zone: 5-7 Button Layout: Alternate (Swaps my dodge and melee buttons) PS4 Controller Settings ⬇️ Swapped L2 with L1 and R2 with R1 (My block and attack buttons are L1 and R1 now and my abilities are at L2 and R2)

What is best timing for a rush/dash attack? I mean with Yoda, Luke, Maul, Grievous. Sometimes I take the damage, other times I inflict it. When 2 dash attacks collide is what I mean. This is a very good and insightful video too. Maybe it is helping me see how sometimes opponents do impossible things or just shake off force attacks miraculously?
No problem man, I’m just here to help that’s all 🙏🏽 Well usually you want to time a rush/dash attack at an unpredictable moment so you don’t end up getting parried during the animation. I’m currently making a video that’s going to go in depth with reading enemy movement and decision making so I think it should help your understanding.
It isn’t hacking. It’s a glitch in the game. Hacking is borderline impossible on console, and he’s on ps4. The thing about bf2, is that if you don’t Parry/hookslash other people will. You’re forced to cheat by other people using the same exploits.
