Interview is all about personality check... but it is recommended that if any panel member ask question in English then you should try to answer it in the same way... but there is no hard and fast rule if any question asked in English then you can simply ask for their permission to answer it in your language... I faced the same problem as i gave my intro in English and answered all questions in hindi.. and i got 65 marks in it which i think is a decent score in Lucknow 😊
