So today's makeup tutorial is on how I cover my dark under eye circles and stop my under eye makeup from creasing! These tips are pretty quick and easy to follow so are great for beginners! i also use a lot of drugstore products and an orange concealer. Ever since my nose surgery I've had really bad dark circles (apparently a common symptom after rhinoplasty) so I thought I'd share with you my tips on how I hide them. :)

+Mckenzie Kurtz I have really bad dark circles (like purple and black, and my skin looks translucent over those areas), and I use some Heal gel (brand name). It was designed to treat scaring but I think now its branded as a multipurpose serum. I get a small pea-sized amount and pat it under my eyes before bed and in the morning and it really helps me

Candlelight, if your dark circles are that bad, you might want to try finding out why they are like that, and if they can be helped outside of make up. Just a thought.

Candlelight if you are only 14 and otherwise healthy and well rested it is most likely hereditary so you will just have to cover with makeup hun. x

You can use a color corrector that is orange or quite yellow so it contra rest the blackness

Theresa Blueberry Aw thank you lovely! Haha they are definitely there but should fade a lot in the next few months. They actually look a lot better on camera for some reason. Excess blood/iron leaked under my eyes from my nose surgery, apparently its really common after rhinopasty :) But goes away in a few months

Brooklyn Bain if they look like tiny pimples its called milia. Commonly caused by heavy products used on the face or your eyes that clog the pores. It is recommended you use eye serums instead of creams and to avoid heavy moisturizers and oils around your eye area. you can also exfoliate to remove them but you must be very careful as the skin under your eyes is very thin and fragile it can cause bruising. hope it helps :)

Brooklyn Bain Mine was caused by dryness so using good moisturizer has helped, maybe checkout a dermatologist who can tell you are yours from dryness or clogged pores, or even from both :)

If you have purple under eye circles then it's better to use a yellow concealer/corrector.

try the morphe colour correcting wheel..I use the pink shades in that and pack it on underneath my eyes an blend it a little..an then I go over with prolong wear concealer..I'm an nc20-25 an pink correxrors really help x

+Lauren S it probably would because most of the colour correctors are very light colours so it works ok most to all skin tones

Lauren S hey lauren, yeah it should do as the colour wheel has two pinky/peachy shades one's quite light and the others a more darker peach colour an you can use either or mix them together. if your undereyes are extremely dark and your still struggling to conceal them, maybe try an orange colour corrector (the la girl one is good) but use the tiniest bit and blend it out as its really really orange and can be hard to hide esp if your fair x

I’ve had dark circles since I was young, so people would assume I was sleep deprived, depressed or sick all the time. Now I don’t go outside without lots of concealer on my under eyes. Despite that, the makeup doesn’t do much and depending on the angle, you can see it very visibly. I’m hoping to try this tutorial out, and maybe it’ll help :) If anyone had tips or techniques on how to make sure the concealer, well, actually “conceals” please tell me lol ^o^

Can you (or anyone) recommend a good eye cream to use at the beginning of this process? I've already been on Amazon and have ordered everything else I'll need to try and "successfully" recreate this look! :) I've never been good at makeup but you made it look easy so I thought I'd give it a shot. I have been applying my make up with concealer and then powder that matches that concealer for years and it's all u need. It works and stays on 24 hours u don't need so much stuff on ur eyes just concealer and powder on top 🙂

loved your explanation of the color wheel ... Spot on... really did love how you covered your under eye up will try the products you have .. I have the Bobby Brown color corrector and I'm not a huge fan so now I'm going to try the LA girl one its time I hear about all through RU-vid and just have to get it already lmao btw I subbed just from this video lmao thats how much I loved it lol just saying lol

All the makeup artist I've seen all say to use an orangy, peachy, pinky concealer for dark circles. So, I don't think that a bunch of them would freak out over this technique. If any of them do then they are dead ass wrong and should probably go back to school. This is definitely the right way to do it. My under eye circles are completely out of control and orangy, peachy, pinky concealers save my ass on a daily!

I have been wearing makeup for a long time because of my acne problems, but I have been feeling an urge to leave my dark circles and light unevenness. Something about it looks better to me, more real (obviously). Your face is beautiful before and after make up, just in different ways.

Have you tried flash photo with hd powder under your eyes like that? Doesnt it flashback? Sorry for my bad english..
