@@iusemeteor By all means if someone feels better about themself by wearing makeup, I don’t see an issue. Impressions matter, and if I’m making a better impression on people by wearing makeup and hitting the gym, best believe that I’m going to wear makeup and hit the gym. This guy is a model and gives genuine advice, and I see no issue in taking it.
I wish I had your confidence. You not only talk about how there's nothing wrong with it, but you also help those who want to be able to feel better as well. Absolutely awesome video from a great person. Thank you!
Dude nobody actually gives a fuck. It’s your body people who care live in an unrealistic and unreasonable world controlled by their insecurities and their phones
Tip from a really acne-prone gal: if your concealer/foundation has a built in brush or sponge do not apply it directly on blemishes, but rather on the back of your hand to avoid getting bacteria on it and causing further inflammation when you use it again! Keep up the good work :)
I just wash my face with my girls face wash, exercise and keep the same diet and routine and they mostly went away, keeping to this schedule means your hormone levels are more or less the same and cleanliness too, the prevents future outbreaks too
ive been taking care pf my skin actifly for over a jear amd the acne wont stop, its a hormone problem that most teenagers cant control and it will get better as they age
As a girl who will speak on behalf of the female community, we do not care if you wear makeup, we actually like that you put effort into your appearance. They bring said you are beautiful without and do not need it at all. Seriously y’all are very handsome!
Yes!! Obviously some people have different opinions on that but Im with you on this one. Clothes and makeup are just fabrics and paints, doesn't matter if you're a guy or girl or whatever
Such a nice message! On pro skin care tip: don't touch the pimples with the concealer brush. Bacteria will stick to it, become more and more and you'll pat it back on your face. Done it for too long too😁
Yess, instead tap some on your finger or the back of your hand and then apply. Sometimes it is good to clean the whole brush as well, just wipe it with a paper towel
@@satanlovesu have you not seen world war z or se7en? If you think he was ugly in those movies then damn, no wonder you don’t got a man with your unrealistically high standards 🤣
@@LandE2003 Ahh yes there u go of course u could sense his “personality” through the screen even though he’s as charismatic as a slug and only one has one facial expression, btw i’m not saying its bad for women to simp over chads just don’t be hypocritical when men do the same thing for hot women
Humans disappoint me every single day with their lack of empathy and kindness for other people. That comment was disgusting. I'm glad you are able to look above it and keep your confidence... You ARE beautiful! ❤
Most ppl still think that acne is caused by dirty skin when in fact it is hormonal. High levels of testosterone can cause acne. I personally suffer from acne because my body produces too much insulin and if the insulin doesn't bond with sugar in the blood, it then drifts around and interacts with other areas of the body. If it interacts with the oil-producing glands in the skin, it sends those glands into a hyper-active state, and therefore can easily clog pores.
@@ornatus9616I am a 31 year old man and still get random blemishes. No clue why. I have been to dermatologists and they can't figure it out either. I take better care of my skin than most people. I've been tested and all hormones and everything are normal. I used to let one blemish absolutely destroy my week and hide away. Now I just use a concealer. Since it's usually only one of two blemishes it's pretty easy to cover or at least make it less noticable. Total game changer. I regret being scared to use makeup all these years.
I have such bad acne and nobody like bullies me for it but you just have the feeling that they hate it and it’s ugly so hearing this really made an impact thank you so much for this and a helpful way to cover it if I ever need to! Just keep doing what your doing❤❤❤❤
Use an acne face scrub in the shower. Trust me it helped so much. And please go get an appointment with a trustworthy dermatologist. They will make a huge difference. After I went to the dermatologist and followed the steps with the medicine they gave me it made my acne completely clear up and stay away. Now all I have to do is wash my face with acne soap. Now obviously you might have scars but that's probably all that will be left.
Hey I struggle with acne too and know alot about skincare so I'm happy to help if I can :) first of all yes seeing a good dermatologist is best but If you can't afford to there's alot of products you can try and alot to learn, you might already know this but if not here's how I helped my acne- so first off reading and learning ingredient lists are a must, I know but a little practice and you'll be able to tell exactly what products you want to try and what ones you dont, here are the good and bad ingredients that helped me understand what helped my skin:- the good ingredients: salicylic acid, green tea, antioxidants especially vitamin b3/b5 and retinol! Retinol is amazing but use with caution its quite strong. Bad ingredients: Anything that can cause irritation will irritation your breakouts- say goodbye too fragrance, essential oils and things that can clog pores like heavy oily moisturizers AND bad alcohols like "alcohol, alcohol denat" especially important because alot of things that are "for acne" have alot of alcohol in them because we used to believe that we should dry put our skin to benefit pimples but all it really dose is strip your skin barrier and makes your skin more prone to pimples because your skin barrier is what protects your skin- that goes for your cleanser as well, for example using a gentle cleanser like QV wash is better then using Benzac. Ok, this is the brand that has helped me the most: [ Paula's choice ] they also have an ingredient dictionary that you can type in any ingredient and it tells you if it's good or not :) very helpful.
hey man thanks for being real and actually using RU-vid to help others. It’s refreshing to see a good looking guy that shows no one is perfect and guys can wear a little bit of concealer or tinted moisturizer. Some of these guys are so egocentric and self absorbed showing off in sexually suggestive videos just to get views, likes and subs.
Some points for anyone who's trying to follow this: Please wrap the ice cube in a clean cloth or something as rubbing ice cubes on your skin can cause broken capillaries, which will show up as red lines on your face over time. For covering spots, get a green color corrector for red spots and a yellow one for purplish spots, dab a little bit on first, then put concealer on top. Make sure you don't touch your spots directly with the concealer brush because bacteria may collect on it that way. Get a good cleanser that suits your skin type to clean off the concealer at night time.
Makeup artist here :) Skincare is a must in my opinion, it not only can help the pimples but makes your skin smooth so makeup looks less noticeable :) that goes for skin prep for makeup as well, only saying this because it really can make a difference and I know it's alot to reasurch ingredients but it's worth it, I'll gladly give anyone skincare advice below. Also be careful with the ice rubing it's not ment for some people and can actually cause irritation, skincare ingredients that are anti-inflammatory are probably better options for you- think green tea, antioxidants, vitamin B5/B3 and you can actually get anti-inflammatory gels from your doctor, it's important to not use skin products that can cause inflation and make your breakouts worse such as [ Fragrance, essential oils and anything unnecessary ] even tea tree oil if it works for you great but I'd recommend salicylic acid instead any day. Also that you for this video it's important to push that guys can also wear makeup and your "guys on TV wear makeup" point was perfect! Because it's so true lol.
well I'm a guy and I don't have severe acne but I have a fair amount of little and slightly big pimples that I feel like ruin my appearance sometimes. plus the scaring from old ones doesn't help. I try covering them up w this one makeup thing but it dries up and is noticeable plus it comes off quick. I just need a proper brand that will do the trick to mask the spots and a good way to prep my face so it doesn't get dry.
Got my acne at 16, and as someone who only used to wash their face with water till the age of 15, barely moisturized and still had clear skin, it was a damn good shock. Nonetheless, two years later, I have learnt a lot about skincare and ykw, I am not rich, somedays barely get by🥴 so it's hard to afford skincare that works and doesn't blow my pockets off. Sometimes my acne leaves behind scars, and ykw, love the skin you are in BECAUSE it is not your fault how your skin is. Really, I switched up my skincare game, focused on hydration inside out, stopped large intake of sugar, sunscreen even being at home, you get it. But sometimes acne wins, and it's alright. It's alright, normal skin has texture and scars and pores, it's alright to be human. If you want to love your acne, remember it's humane, I called mine strawberry freckles. Very cute.
This is actually really helpful, I have pretty bad acne and I'm pretty self conscious about it. No one ever points it out but I feel like no one would like me unless its covered. I hate wearing makeup though because it bothers me and itches my face. so it's all just unfortunate. I might try this sometime though so thank you! You are really inspirational, to me at least :]
As a guy who struggles with acne since really young age, it's really comforting to see a guy that is considered attractive by so many having acne spots too. There's nothing wrong with acne, it's not ugly, it's completely physiological and it's not our fault.
It really hurts me that someone left that comment about your spots. I resonate with you a lot. I married young, I feel pretty attractive, and I'm not insecure about much, but I've always had bad acne from the age of 14, and I'm 25. It really does lower your attractiveness in the eyes of society, and it's hurtful because it is extremely superficial. It's always coming and going anyway. I guess it just shows how superficial all beauty standards are. Don't let them get you down. You ARE beautiful, you have bone structure to die for and lovely blue eyes. That is MUCH harder to fake with makeup, they were probably just jealous lol
hey i have acne as welll and i am so insecure…. some days it looks great but the next day you get hit really bad. but truthfully your such a gorgeous person it doesn’t bother me would still 10/10 date you!
PRO TIP: Whether you're going to cover it up or not, ALWAYS cleanse and moisturize your face twice a day, and use sunscreen when you're going outdoors. That's the bare minimum. If you wanna do a bit more you can use products that contain vitamin c or retinol/tretinoin (be cautious with those, though). And if you really wanna go the extra mile you can add some fancy serums and essences, but those don't add too much if your basic routine is already solid. Why: - low effort (only 10 mins of your morning & night) - high reward (clean, nourished, good looking skin) - huge variety in products and price ranges; there's always something that suits your skin and budget - confidence boost - stop feeling like you need to cover stuff up Why not: - ???
can you help me with something, when i wake up i wash my face with a cleanser and apply a moisturizer but then i go out without sunscreen bc i wont apply the two products (moisturizer and sunscreen) ate the same time. However, if i dont moisturize it early in the morning my skin gets dry, what should i do? should i not use sunscreen then?
@@fknpires4665 If you feel like putting on both moisturizer and sunscreen is too much, there's two things you can do. You can use a little less moisturizer if you normally put a pretty rich layer, that way it sinks into your skin a bit faster before applying sunscreen. You can also apply your moisturizer and then wait ~10 more minutes to let it sink into your skin before going in with sunscreen. It shouldn't feel like you're basically mixing the two because you either use too much or you apply them immediately after each other. But DEFINITELY always wear sunscreen, sun damage can get pretty nasty if you've gone about your day unprotected for a couple decades. I promise you, if you use both your skin will not feel dry halfway through the day.
@@fknpires4665 There are many moisturizing creams with SPF, actually! All in 1 product. My boyfriend uses a product like that, specifically made for acne-prone skin. :)
Tip for selecting the right concealer shade: Test multiple shades of concealer in natural light. The workers at a makeup store can "match" you, but in my experience, they don't always find a good match. Always best to do your own tests outside of the store.
I actually have severe acne but almost everyone at my school knows me as one of the most popular kid and that’s because I try to not think about because everyone gets acne and it’s not big deal if you don’t worry about it. Just live your life and make the best out of it.
@@sae311 yeah I'm sure she can sense the guys personality from this video 🤣 must be the personality making her get on her knees. And yeah if I reject someone because I don't find them physically attractive that's fine. At least I admit it, rather than claiming that personality is all that matters like girls do, and then going for the biggest asshole because he's 6 foot tall
You're a very cool person! You made me feel better about my face, as a young kid I had a lot of insecurities about my acne. But you just made me more confident and accept it. Thank you for helping me, and I like your hairstyle!
This is amazing that your taking care of yourself so well! I've struggled with acne for mnay years now and I've learned that the acne community is full of inspiration and strong people. Just one tip : before applying the makeup use a light moisturiser to hydrate the skin and reduce texture.
Hey bro you should try to see what food causes you breakouts. It's almost always because of food. It usually is dairy, but it can also be due to gluten or sugar
@@ivomaltine1327 Bro. I hope you're not a doctor, because where have you read this nonsense? Foods high in estrogens are NOT sugar, gluten and dairy. Certain foods can worsen the acne because of their high glicemic index, since they're pro-inflammatory. Hormonal imbalances happen, especially during puberty, and they're not linked to the type of food you're consuming. The reason why sugar impacts on estrogen levels is because, if you eat too much of it, you'll develop more fat aka you'll have more fat cells secreting estrogen (and it's physiological, not pathological). Also, estrogens are necessary for men, since they're essential to obtain a proper muscle mass gain, to modulate the libido, to mantain a correct erectile function and especially for spermatogenesis. One has to be consuming exclusively cabbages, flaxseeds, soy, dried fruit, legumes and garlic to have an estrogen diet induced hormonal imbalance. It's more likely for men to have some type of hormonal imbalance because of the lifestyle, the hygene or the stress (if you don't actually have some diagnosed endocrine disorder or going through puberty, of course).
Bro you should try Centella asciatica and niacinamide combo. Facial wash with salicylic acid ingre. I feel you. Im acne prone too but so far my skin is healed but yeah i have sensitive and acne prone skin. Wishing your acne will be healed.
As someone who used to have bad acne and acne scars I cannot emphasise another to anyone struggling to; drink approx 2l of water a day, reduce consumption of greasy/sugary/salty food, and exfoliate your skin.
@@goncalosilva9182 this really depends on whereabouts your acne stage is at. If this is still active acne then you don’t wanna be too rough as you’ll end up popping your acne. I would recommend a face wash with exfoliating salts and I would wash this area just before going to bed. If you don’t have active acne and it’s just scars I used to get a toothbrush with soft bristles and scrub the scars (not too hard) and I used to do this every other day. I noticed decent results after around 6 months. Additional FYI avoid being in the sun for too long without sunscreen as this (UV rays) will discolour scars (make them darker) Hope this helps.
@@RealestBoxy depends on the scar types. The scars where the skin was discoloured from the previous acne outbreaks faded around a year. However the scars where the skin was uneven/dented (referred to as ice pick scars) have taken various time periods to fade- the scars around my temple and jaw were mostly shallow and faded or significantly smoothed back out after around 18 months but the deeper scars around my cheek have taken around around 2 years with some scars still being visible to my right cheek. That being said every 6 months or so I take pictures of the right cheek and can definitely see improvement but that area just seems to be recovering slowly; the main thing is that you keep consistent with your skin routine and diet.
When I was a teenager this would of been useful, later on I became actor and would use foundation to even skin tone out. Anyone struggling with acne, stay strong!
I am so sick of people making fun or talking behind others backs about how they look, it’s so disgusting, but thanks for showing how easily that can be ignored🙏🥰
For all the guys with questions, if you just go to Sephora the employees will recommend you great products and you can get something to help your acne and aswell as a good concealer and be out of there in like 10 minutes, I promise no one cares and it’s not just a makeup store 😂😂
Just a tip, if you are gonna wear concealer, consider setting powder as well, especially if you plan on getting sweaty, wearing it all day, or being in a dry climate/space or if your skin is just dry, otherwise the concealer will start to cake/come up and it will look blotchy. also if you have dry skin consider a setting spray. Also, if you’re not rly breaking out, but do have acne scaring as a result of dry skin clogging your pores, I recommend an exfoliant, nothing too grainy, stay away from sulfates and dimethicone. And a hydrating mask. Honestly if you’re a guy and you have acne as a result of dry skin and are ok with using skin care/make up those are the 4 things I recommend to get started.
this is *so* good, just remember to not hold the ice to your skin for too long as to bot cause damage! loving the positivity around taking care of your looks tho❤❤
As a 22y old dude i`ve been doing skincare for a while and im pretty good at it at this point lol but i started wearing concealer recently. I learnt it while in tokyo and i have to say i love it and makes me feel better but coming back to europe im without a doubt more afraid of being judged because of it. I just want to feel handsome
