In this video I teach you a simple way to turn a PNG file into a SVG file using Silhouette Studio. I also discuss how I move my files from my iPad to my MacBook without using airdrop. There is an app called send anywhere you can send your files, or Email them to yourself

SVG stands for Scalable Vector Graphics, so you have vectored something, you just didn't know it. :) Thanks for the tutorial, it was very helpful.

I have the free silhouette software and it doesn't give me the option to save as svg. Do I need the software I have to pay for?

I was looking for the same thing, apparently you need the silhouette studio business edition to export as svg.
