My name is Arvind Keprate and I have done my Ph.D. and Masters from Norway. I have been living in Norway for the last 8 years and thought of sharing my experience of living in Norway with all the viewers of RU-vid. The videos are in Hindi and English mix.

Last year I cracked interview they took 3 rounds through video. 1st Round 2 experts took my interview mostly they targeted my work experience and technical aspects. 2 round three guys took my interview and it's not fully technical questions but my interest and flexibility. 3 round three guys they took 1 hour 50 min it's totally related to my attitude,team player, knowledge sharing, seriousness about job, how iam added advantage to company, proactive. Seriously I enjoyed last round my suggestion be genuine and clear while addressing interviewer.

Well, I am from india (Bihar). I am a marine engineer. Currently, i am working in Dynacom tanker company and this company making me wait to join the vessel since very long time and long waiting i can't afford as i am the only one who earn in my family. Thank You "Arvind" for making such informative videos. Norwegian Universities had a threshold of 'C' grade at the time of applying so Can You please share what is the safe zone of CGPA for Norwegian Universities while applying for a masters in technical Programs? Secondly, as some universities had tough grading criteria. My university gives 'A' on 93% and 'C' on 75%. So while converting our CGPA to ECTs would it give us a little extra edge in terms of increase in CGPA? Looking forward to your responses and if possible kindly make a video on this as well. Thank You :)

Dear Ali, as far as I know generally 60% is regarded as C grade. There is no distinction between different universities. Which means irrespective of which university you have studied it is just percentage which matters.

Hello Arvind ji, Hope you are doing well, I' just want to know there's is any salary negotiate because Norway has average salary for each person and Government fix the pay for everyone. So Why the company bargains with job seekers while the Govt fix the wages for everyone u said in yor previous videos Nowadays Norway has been closed than You will get any unemployment benefits and such type of rules applies for each person lower to upper, please make it clear

Dear Pravindra ji, You have avery valid point. Most of the salaries in the Government sector are fixed hence there are few chances of salary negotiations. But in the private sector I believe HR tests you and offers you low salary, as for them it is advantage if they get good resource at cheap price. Yes Unemployment benefit applies to all who have a PR in Norway irrespective of their salaries. Hope I have answered your queries.

Dear Friend, it is not possible to get a job directly from India in Norway whether you are a fresher or experienced. I would encourage you to try to apply for masters here in Norway.

Its like how you manage summer solstice and winter solstice in norway as it is arctic and it becomes difficult to sleep during summer when no night... bro, six months winter and six months summer happens in very north norway.... oslo is still better.aysa nahi hai ki complete dark hota hi..we have sunlight for a few hours during the day and one getsused to it... and good to know you are from Shimla :D
