@Krish Naik. Thanks for this initiative. My question is how to even get shortlisted for an interview since I have nonlinear career history. Whenever interviewer asks about the "RELEVANT EXP", I really do not know how to answer. If I tell the truth, I won't get shortlisted.

Hi, same problem here, currently am working as a Automation testing with python, am trying to transform to DS, so i practiced a lot on ML, now am looking for an opportunity but they are asking for relevant experience on this DS, don't know what should i say, pleas tell me the solution if u get any. HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY, ,It seems this video was for those candidates who have got some work experience, but sir, there are many students(including me) who are studying DATA SCIENCE and want to get recruited on the basis of that. So can you suggest them regarding how to get recruited. IT WILL REALLY BE VERY HELPFUL!!

The tips he's giving you about the experience can be applied to anything based on working for a company, doing research, or building personal/academic projects. You need to show off what you have done to impress the recruiter.

Great stuff. However, general trend these days is sending across a test case and asking the candidate to work on it - then the interviewer has something solid to discuss on. I personally find this approach helpful.

@Krish Naik, Could you please tell me what BIG Data tools and technologies as a data scientist should know? I am learning DS and ML through an online learning portal that is paid and has 5 huge courses like ML with python ML with R, Apache Spark with Scala Deep learning with TensorFlow Tableau I am doing Apache Spark and Scala course these days, however, I have no idea about the BIG data tools like Hadoop, MapReduce and all that.

If you try to script it, you will come off wrong. Every interviewer will listen for different things. Sometimes you will be interviewed by an engineer, other times a non engineer which works in IT. Some people want to talk about soft drinks while others will want to hear about calculus.

I have lot of similar problems mentioned in below comments. Not getting calls from recruiters. Current project is not letting me to go for POC. I have projects completed as part of Data Science learning and on kaggle(one from Analytic Vidhya). I am eagerly searching jobs.
