I just got back from my first ever H1B Visa Stamping interview at Hyderbad US consulate and here’s how it went down Forms checked by all staff Ds 160 Latest Passport Interview Questions -Are you a direct hire of xyz company? -Which city/state you’re traveling to? -What kind of games do you develop? -What’s your job title? -What’s your highest education? Your H1B Visa approved. The visa interview officer didn’t ask for my employment letter (I also didn’t need a client letter), education documents, old passport, other forms. Only thing they asked from me during interview was latest passport. People in front of and behind me all got their visas approved.
@@alfredadarkothor162 the company that hired me was one of the clients at my former work place, hence they wanted to know was I directly hired by the U.S. company and I said yes.
I just cleared my H1B interview yesterday, they did not ask me any of these cliched questions. The VO just asked for a few documents, i was able to pull it in jiffy and within 15 secs it was over. Please use sticky flags to separate out your documents, do not fumble for it. This can make a huge difference.
Although some say you do not have to go in formal outfit, I would still go in formal to match the energy of the VO. Trust me it doesn't really feel right if the VO is wearing a suit and you are wearing a V neckT
I saw a lot of people getting rejected just because they were not able to pull out the documents in time or handed over the entire bundle of documents. You need to value the VOs time, use sticky flags, book marks, or memorize the doc is if that's what it takes. This leaves a good impression and they might as well not ask any questions
@@walternarvaez8557 I-797, Employer offer letter, End client letter or LCA. I could not get my end client ready for the interview. So I carried a higher management letter from my employer which read I'd be working for a client, and also carried an MSA b/w my employer and the end-client.

Yesterday was my appointment at the US Embassy and my visa was approved. Something important in my interview is to clarify the relationship between the jobs. The officer thought that I was doing some kind of "transfer" because I told her "the positions are similar, I will do the same tasks" so she understood that I was talking about the same company, but I was talking about a similar position. For a moment I thought that she had denied me the visa because she got up and went to another part of the embassy to look for some kind of information. She came back and told me "To be honest, I don't understand the relationship between these jobs." I explained to her that they are different companies, but it is a similar position (something very obvious but she didn't understand). So, I was glad that she said "I don't understand" because in another situation, maybe she will deny the visa for no reason. My interview lasted 25 minutes, but after the misunderstanding was resolved, everything became crystal clear. So don't be afraid, they don't want to reject a request at the last step. I applied for h1b in 2021, but I got 221g due (the sponsor address was not given appropriately on i1797c, the sponsor gave the lawyer's address instead of the sponsor's address), trying f1 in 2023, so in an interview time, what kind of questions will arise?
are we eligible for H1B Dropbox/Stamping from other countries like Malaysia, Mauritius, Seychelles? Is there any special requirement? I am having a hard time getting appointment for 2022 in India.
Never go for dropbox or stamping in other countries because H1B is often denied when stamping from F1 to H1B and you will be stuck in different country if they issue 221g

Hello, I am Vivek from India and got the position in WashU as Research Associate. For this position they will provide H1B sponsorship. Does this sponsorship come under cap exempt? How much time it took to process H1B cap exempt visa? I also heard the long backlog in H category visa, is this true? How much it is difficult to book slot for H1B interview? I am also planning to do PhD after that. Is it good idea to took H1B now instead of J1? However after 2 years i have to change the status from H1B to F1 when i start my PhD program.

Why do you want to work in usa I want to improve professionally and personally. By working in usa l will get an international exposure and knowledge of educational system in us schools ( my visa is for teaching) that confidence will help me to take up higher roles of teaching career in lndia.
