@@JoshClemensbmx Yo Josh, not sure if you’ll see this or not but how do you get your back wheel up? Do you push forward or does the flip of the crankflip bring the wheel up? My back wheel keeps dropping making my catches inconsistent.
Today I landed an icepick stall double crankflip. Yet I cannot catch them in air doing on flat ground, should work on this :/ any tips? Just jump higher?
+Brian Collingwood its very weird at first I agree. You just gotta get comfortable with pulling up and lifting up your feet so you can kick or "flick it". It will be awkard at first, but once you get muscle memory it will come naturally. Hope that helps man.
+Reece Ribas Just make sure you watch your pedals the whole time, this will help with knowing where your feet and pedals are. Hopefully you'll just see them and stomp it!
*PLEASE HELP!!!* I can't kick my cranks for my life. I always just end up doing a stupid no-footer. I know I should scoop with my front foot but my shoes don't bend and my feet always slide off the pedals! :( (my pedals are brand new)
before you bunny-hop, tilt your front foot forward slightly, and put your front crank at an upward angle, around "10 o-clock" so you will get traction on the pedal. try doing this like a 100 times without hopping first, then add in the hop. Also for me it help to think of it as an ''air walk'' of sorts. 1. Cranks at 10 and 4 o'clock, front foot tilted down, 2. hop. 3. lift the rear foot (in order to stay clear of your cranks while they spin), 4. quickly flick at the cranks, in a sweeping motion, sort of like if you were to try a get a chewing gum off the sole of your shoe. 5. catch front foot first, then back foot on, 6. land and ride away into the sunset.
No hate towards the channel or the rider or anything but I thought this how to was poorly made. He gave some great tips but I definitely think he could given more tips and elaborated even more. He also never mentioned having your chain and/or cranks loose makes this trick possible.
