The blog page is where your visitors will see your site's blog posts in some sort of list. You can show all of the blog posts or just a subset. In this tutorial, you learn how to do this with the free version of Elementor plus a free add-on for Elementor.

For people who have problem editing the "Section title" into Blogs. Click on Section title Go to top left Click on "settings" just next to "content" Scroll down and click on "section title" just below "Social Share Pro" Click on the box and and edit as you like it. Hope it helps.

About the recent back and forth regarding WebP image format. Are they only ditching the automatic converting of JPG to WebP, or is the WebP format being ditched altogether? Am I supposed to change back to JPG now, or some other format. I saw someone mentioned AVIF, never heard of it before. I don't have that many images on my websites, but I'm asking just so I know which I should use. Thank you in advance.

Hi the reason your blog page is loading twice is because of the selected preloader settings... on the post grid settings pannel, shut the three selected icons and your page will work well. You don't need preloader on.

You covered the display page but what do we need to know about creating the actual blogs? Do you have to make each one in Elementor? Can you use Gutenberg? Any limitation or rules to the layout??

Does the post grid plug-in affect all pages? Like the drop-down for short code vs elementor? If I choose one will it disable short code on some of my pages?

Hi Trish, I'm not sure I fully understand your question, but I'll do my best to answer it :) The post grid plugin will affect only pages to which you've added the shortcode. If you use an Elementor template to create a post grid you can specify in the conditions which type of archive page the post grid will be applied to (blog post listings, category archives, tag archives, etc.). Use the Elementor template with the conditions will override a post grid listing page created using the shortcode. I hope that helps :) Let me know if you have any further questions. Hi, what seo plug-in do you recommend? I use yoast seo but I keep seeing red marks for my outbound and inbound links. I have a template for all my posts that automatically pulls in those links with breadcrumbs and post navigation at the bottom so I’m really confused

Hey, great tutorial, thank you for sharing, however I have ran into an issue, now whenver I visit the blog post page and try to click on one of the blog posts or on the option to "read more", it doesnt open the post, it just refreshes the blog post page, what can i do ?

Great vid, thanks! How come when you go on to your wordpress page you created, named it blog posts and then clicked edit with elementor the page name doesnt show. It does on mine. Any help on how to hide this as I have a section title which I'd like to just call Blog or News but I have BLOG as the page name above it and it looks stupid.

I have prepared a website for affiliate marketing and I have prepared the necessary title for it then I have prepared 15 articles to put on that website and I have prepared the title keywords separately for those 15 articles and inserted them in it. Hey Ayis, Elementor does most of the work in regards to the grid. All you have to do is drag and drop the elements in place.

Hi Rich, I just tried it out on my demo site and the Post Grid plugin doesn't take over the Elementor sidebar for me. When I'm working in the Post Grid widget I do have click the 9 square grid icon in the Elementor bar in the top left to get back to the Elementor widgets. It could also be a conflict with another plugin on your site or the theme. Most conflicts can be resolved by updating all plugins, the active theme and the WordPress core files if updates are available. I hope that helps!

If you're adding the posts using the Elementor Posts Widget have you tried going to "Query" section of the "Content" and toggling "Ignore Sticky Posts" off. It's on by default. If you turn it off the sticky post should be first (top left) and the other posts should appear according to your settings (chronological in this case).

How you can edit your blog page with elementor because when I create my blog page and choose the post page to be the blog page I cant no longer edit it with elementor. If I try not to choose a post page the posts in the blog page does not appear???

That should be done automatically. With the plugin I used in this tutorial it turns the featured image and the title of the blog post into a clickable link that takes visitors from the blog listing page to the actual article. The Elementor editor normally would do that, so it must be something else. It could be the browser (maybe it's out of date?) or it could be caused by a chrome extension (if you have any installed).

Where you create your Posts, you have a Featured Image you can add in the column on the right of the Wordpress editor. That is the image that shows at the top of the grid. Titles are also edited there.
