To be honest, I learned by doing. Since a lot of platforms have a free option, you can just jump in there and get started. Make sure you do focus on the content though. I think this information he's giving here is teaching you more of that part of website building which is in reality what converts and what people forget to focus on since most people focus on the technical aspects. But as for building it, get in there and tinker around. Then learn about the content and calls to actions it should have. Good luck! I've been building sites for 10yrs .However I enjoy the begineer videos because sometimes you just train yourself to do things the hard way and song realize that he beginner strategies or going back to the roots is a great way to simplify your process. And sometimes you become stop seeing the forest foe the trees.

Where is this free website hosting you mentioned? I see some free marketing tool to help optimize your business (or whatever this tool does), but you need to provide them with a website....??? what am i missing? So basically I need to pay for a domain (instead of using a intro deal w/ a hosting site that will give me my first year domain for free)... then HOPE after I provide them my website, that they will host it at no charge?

There are simpler ways you can create a website and it's actually for FREE but! If you want a professional website, you might need at least $50 a year....likely $4 per month to have it on the internet

I get this question a lot! Learning html is not a waste of time! As a web design business, you have to edit and customize code all the time. Without knowledge of html, you are extremely limited. Hope that helps!
