Excellent introduction. Short, but very clear. Having worked 9 years in libraries and using the current library catalog as a basis, an LLM is the perfect librarian. It will be able to provide a more wide ranging answer to questions (like Google is experimenting with now).
This is fantastic! The step-by-step guide on creating a comic book with AI is super informative and easy to follow. It's amazing to see how accessible comic book creation can be with these free AI tools. Thank you for breaking it down so clearly and providing such valuable resources. I can't wait to start my own comic project using these techniques! 📚🤖🎨
I feel like my lifetime of learning to draw and planning to produce graphic novels could go to 🗑 waste. I mean, I know A.I. can't get exactly to what you want but it really could get close to what you're aiming for. For most people IMO, they're satisfied as long it's good enough. 😢
I'm not jealous of how AI draw the characters, but the backgrounds OMG, I could never draw backgrounds like that. It's not that I couldn't learn to draw backgrounds but I'm NOT INTERESTED to spend hours just to draw them. I hope I could utilise AI to speed up my comic production, especially for the backgrounds e.g. turning rough sketches of the same background in different angles and panels into final rendered backgrounds that implement consistencies from its original reference sheet.
@@hanafihikari Why not make your illustrations and incorporate AI backgrounds? I'm into creation too, and the only solution i see is incorporating all this in my work if i want to keep going.
Amazing! As someone who isn't an artist, I'm still captivated by comic books and their animations. Walt Disney characters have always held a special place in my heart. With dedication, investment, and patience, we can truly bring wonders to life. Thank you for introducing Comicbook Al, it's a fantastic experience!
Literally anyone can draw, no media is a variable and democratized as drawing, millions of communities that help, Millions of tutorial about literally anything... I don't understand why people would use AI That was Trained very very unethicaly and Exploited these open communities, just because they are not centralized like the music industry instead decentralized between millions of small artists...
Thanks for the invite code. I took the test by writing a story I already had in mind, but he didn't understand anything. The images had nothing to do with the content. But maybe in the future it will be more assertive.
Nope it's trash and it lowers the opportunity of making an income out of it, bc 1- It's mostly stolen assets 2- It lowers it's value and quality. Nobody will be willing to pay for something they can make with a shit algorithm, they might be more interested in something with quality that will be worth the price.
a couple of questions. After creating my characters - when putting them in frame they always change - bald character gets hair. also I do not have option to change poses?
meh. I spent over an hour trying to get something even close to what I wanted. The image generation was painfully generic. No consistency to reference to color scheme or style.
Yes same here 😅 artificial intelligence need so much training so far and I don't know why people are making fool to showing such stupid toy story creating by AI 😢 it's time wasting thing.
I have 2 question plssssss answer it 1) from where can we download this app 2)after making the comic is it important to publish it or we can just save it?
I must ask you something ... If i create my original story and use this AI . Do you think will be possible that someone from AI company may be able to still my story and create a Hollywood movie later own without my consent ?
It's bad. It can't keep the characters consistent and it's very slow at generating the images. If you're interested in making comics, you're better off learning Clip Studio Paint. You can still generate panels with AIs, but using a pro software will give you much more freedom.
I was curious to see how far Ai has gotten with this Comic Book Tool. I am not impressed. The characters don't interact they always pose for the camera. I use the Comic Life program along with Second Life avatars of my own design as well as surroundings or backdrop of my choice. I also write my own story and dialog. When Ai does all the work, even the story... I have to ask why do you bother?
the presentation is appealing but the reality is on the downside. Whatever you write you only get Mango-type characters and the same type of spaces and objects whether you set it in year 1950 or in 3100. The space prompts don't work since if you say the character is in a conference table it always puts it on a desk...etcetera. It will get better but for now, you can't really say it makes comic strips
In my resent experience with "free" programs I have learned that nothing is really free. Most of the times you just get a small amount of "free credits" to just try out some of the features of those programs. So......how much is this one cost really? Edit: Never mind. I just found out. You get some free "mana" and every time you want to create an image you spend 3 mana. And for every retry you spend 3 more mana. So, you get a messed up result and you want to retry? YES, 3 more mana..... Until the mana is over and you have to buy more or get a money subscription.... And you can't try every tool in this...."limited time free trial". Some tools are for those who pay. So, NOT FREE AT ALL.
The only free thing is drawing your self... Nothing is so cheap as doing it your self... Anyone can draw, no media is as Available and open as drawing, millions of communities that help, Millions of tutorial about literally anything... I don't understand why people would use AI That was trained very unethically and exploited these open communities, just because they are not centralized like the music industry instead split between millions of small artists without big backing...
I just tried this one it is super gay and for gils, all your characters will look gay. If you're a girl or Marvel/DC fan this is a great tool for you, if you want to make a cool comic book you can actually show to your friends go somewhere else.
this AI platform is not what it is cracked to be...I asked to create a character in his mid 40s, muscled, Terminator looking dude and after 27 tries the generated guy looks like one of the Back Street Boys....forget it.. AI has a looooong way to go
If you're really interested in comics, Midjourney is by far the best AI program to use because it's a very versatile and powerful tool, that can generate countless art styles, consistent characters, etc. Consider also learning Photopea so you can properly create a layout. I teach that on my channel.
