How to create a donut chart in ship modes total orders in the inner and orders in the outer circle. 

Step 1: Connect to Your Data
First, connect Tableau to your data source that contains information about orders and ship modes.
Step 2: Prepare Your Data
Ensure that your data is structured properly with the necessary fields. You should have two fields: one for ship modes and another for the count of unique orders in each ship mode.
Step 3: Create the Donut Chart
Drag and drop the "Ship Mode" dimension to the "Columns" shelf.
Drag and drop the "Unique Orders" measure to the "Rows" shelf.
You will see a bar chart by default. To convert it into a donut chart, follow these steps:
Click on "Show Me" on the top right.
In the "Show Me" panel, select the "Donut Chart" option.
Step 4: Format the Donut Chart
Now, format the donut chart to match your desired style:
Click on the "Size" shelf in the "Marks" card and reduce the size of the bars to create the donut hole effect. You can do this by adjusting the slider or typing in a specific value.
Remove the axis labels, gridlines, and headers to clean up the chart. To do this, click on each element you want to remove and select "Hide" or adjust the formatting accordingly.
To add the total unique orders in the inner circle, create a calculated field:
Go to "Analysis" in the top menu.
Select "Create Calculated Field."
Name the calculated field (e.g., "Total Unique Orders").
Enter the formula to calculate the total unique orders, something like: SUM([Unique Orders]).
Click OK to create the calculated field.
Drag this calculated field to the "Rows" shelf, and it will appear as a text label inside the inner circle of the donut chart.
Adjust the formatting of the text label to make it visually appealing, such as increasing the font size and changing the color.
You can also format the colors of the segments in the outer circle (representing ship modes) to make the chart more visually appealing.
Once you've completed these steps, you should have a donut chart in Tableau that displays total unique orders in the inner circle and ship mode-wise unique orders in the outer circle, formatted as per your request.
