How to Create a Download Link in WordPress (Download Files)

In this video, we're going to cover how to create a download link in WordPress, which will enable us to offer downloadable content to our viewers, with a simple click of a link (or button).
Worth Noting: We can use these download links with most types of files (PDF, images, videos, etc).

Great video, definitely going to try it out.. Can you please do a tutorial on importing multiple variable products in a csv file to woocommerce, not many tutorials show you how to set up the excel sheet, and woocommerce tutorials are difficult to follow..

it didn't work out quite the way you suggested but i was able to figure out clicking here and there in wordpress ..Finally i was able to add downloadable links to my blog ...one advice though zip files don't open in mobile phones so i guess visiters need to download zip file opener application from google play to open downloaded file (if its in zip)

Well done Martie, another great and hugely helpful video. I will be using this a lot in about a month's time when I have rebuilt one of my sites. There is one thing I don't understand however, why is it necessary to compress whatever it is you want people to download?

I never really questioned it until you posed this question! haha I think it's probably just the way WordPress differentiates between files to show & files to download... Like there would never be a reason to SHOW a zipped file, but all of the other ones could be either something to SEE or DOWNLOAD. I hope this makes sense... and if anyone reading this has a better answer, please feel free to join in on this! haha Thanks again Colin, @MartieDread
