Great question. First step you need to break down where you are and what your goals are. First up- What is your current skill level? Do you have an audience? What is your unique selling point for having a delivery app? For example: Are you in a rural area where other competitors are not located? Is it for a niche food or industry? How much are you trying to make with this idea? Starting there sets you up for success in building a profitable application or business model.

@docwilliams I'm in an area where there is competition like doordash and uber eats. I don't have a client base yet.This is a startup project. This will be a grassroots food delivery app. Because i'm tired of driving for doordash. I want to create my own food delivery app and make one hundred percent of the profits.

Nice video. But you didn't mention an alternative for firebase.Because firebase is very expensive

Great question! It really depends you're current skill level and prefences but you could look into Supabase supabase.com/ Also it really depends on the growth of your app, Firebase can be expensive the more you have users or customers. To start out it is free

@docwilliams Exactly. But I just wanna build an app like doordash and build my client base through restaurant’s and provide them with better delivery deals than doordash and Uber eats.

@docwilliams Then I also would have to figure out how much I will charge for mileage and delivery fees. I wonder if adalo has firebase features?

Hey Doc, I’m trying to build a project management tool (web-app) for agencies with no-code (as I have 0 experience with coding) but at the same time I don’t want no vendor lock-in like Bubble does (even though I love their platform). Which platform would you recommend me?
